**Project Cost Estimator**
The ability of the estimation team and larger sales organization to provide business proposals in a timely manner is critical to growing the business. The timeliness and professionalism of our proposals provides our customers with their first impression of PCI and our processes. This role will allow us to have a focused and streamlined estimation process for supporting the sales team proposal needs and grow the business.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Work with the sales team, business unit managers, and customers to understand the scope of the business opportunity we are reviewing.
+ Work with the Cost Estimating management and Sales management to determine the strategic approach to an opportunity.
+ Work with Package Design to draft package dimensions PCI proposes for the project.
+ Work with Purchasing and vendors to determine adequate material specifications and understand material costs for each packaging opportunity.
+ Work with the Cost Estimating Manager and the Sr. VP of Sales to appropriately price the piece of business.
+ Work with the sales team to generate the format of the proposal.
+ Conduct and lead open conversations with Design and Engineering and propose the best process for the project.
+ Determine the best piece of equipment to run the project and host strategy meetings with engineering to determine process and equipment, when necessary.
+ Determine the staffing, speeds, and efficiencies for each requested opportunity.
+ Maintain metrics aligned with senior leaderships expectations.
+ This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
+ Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, and rules.
+ Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
+ Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Packing Engineering or related field
+ 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
+ College Level Mathematical Skills
+ Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
+ Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
+ Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.

**For Illinois residents** : The hiring rate for this position is $58,624--$69,000 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise. Summary: The Senior Estimator is responsible for the estimating, bid documentation and qualification of bids.

• Understands plan and specification organization and how each area relates to the estimating procurement process.
• Participate in on-site pre-bid project review / take pictures (if allowed) / make sketches and/or note areas of potential difficulty.
• Monitor and report the status of the various stages of the bid process to the Director of Project Controls.
• Interpret the plans and specifications into a written scope of work.

Required Qualifications:  

• 4-year degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience (working knowledge) of construction, design, finance and accounting practices.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our manufacturing team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting pricing strategies for custom manufacturing jobs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs, with a proven ability to read technical drawings and collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Analyze labor, material, and production time requirements to develop pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to gather input for cost calculations.
• Request and evaluate vendor quotes for materials and subcontracted work.
• Maintain and update cost databases, historical estimates, and pricing templates.
• Prepare and present cost estimation reports and proposals to management and/or customers.
• Participate in project kickoff meetings to ensure estimates are accurately communicated.
• Continuously improve estimation processes by incorporating feedback and historical data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing/Fabrication Shop Supervisor
• 3+ years of experience in cost estimation within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Oracle systems and estimation software a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks software, and/or technical drawing interpretation

Job Description:

The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

Role and Requirements

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details

• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service 

• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics 

• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Way’s regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery 

• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members

• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone

• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures

• Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required

• Support all team members when required

• Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)

• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager 

• Maintain the store's KPI’s by maximizing role performance

• Uphold the company's Core Values : Honesty, Integrity & Respect

Education and/or Experience Required

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 

• Awareness of where to look for answers 

• Basic Computer Skills 

• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience 

• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training 

• Valid Driver’s License
