Your Responsibilities May Include

  • Actively managing a portfolio of client engagements and consulting staff, assuring all contractual targets and deliverables are met

Requirements

  • Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to be part of a growing, elite-level consulting firm
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for the provider healthcare sector
  • Progressive leadership experience in management consulting to healthcare providers; consideration will also be given to years of experience as a senior executive of provider organization combined with consulting experience
  • Demonstrated record of solving complex problems, directing and managing individuals, and completing challenging projects
  • Track record of managing multiple engagements, including work plans, deliverables, budgets and schedules, and accounts receivable
  • Demonstrated record establishing and maintaining trust-based relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • Viewed as a thought leader through marketing activities such as networking with potential clients, participating in professional societies, and publishing and presenting thought leadership (whitepapers, speeches, and articles)
  • Demonstrated focus on staff development, coaching, and retention, with a refined ability to provide constructive and timely feedback
  • Masters degree in business administration and/or a health-related field; bachelors degree in business or a health-related field preferred
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time (depending on nature of the work and division)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain deep client relationships

This job is eligible to participate in ECG's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG's pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECGs benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) matching program; unlimited PTO; and other wellness programs.

As the Healthcare Consulting Director in Pharmacy, you will:

  • Lead and direct teams in complex performance improvement engagements, managing budgets, invoicing, and billing while ensuring successful client outcomes.

  • Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to quantify benefits, identify risks, and develop solutions for performance improvement initiatives.

  • Communicate effectively to understand client challenges, create customized solutions, and manage client expectations, delivering impactful presentations and proposals.

  • Willingness and ability to travel every week up to 80% (Monday-Thursday with occasional onsite Fridays) and work extended hours as needed

The estimated base salary range for this job is $190,000 - $35,000. This job is also eligible to participate in Hurons annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Hurons pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is 237,500 - 317,250. The job is also eligible to participate in Hurons benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. REQUIRED SKILLS:

**Responsibilities**
+ Serve as a Global Consulting Leader, bringing your areas of domain expertise to Cognizant's clients, as we engineer modern businesses to improve everyday life
+ Own and develop a book of business and actively engage in business development efforts, often owning quota for accounts, and ensuring profitable growth for the practice and for Cognizant
+ Exercise quality assurance for all engagements within area of responsibility
+ Engage in key account expansion, sales leadership, and internal executive stakeholder partnering based on an expert understanding of such things as emerging market trends, client business direction, client requirements, and the feasibility of transformation goals
+ Establish and nurture relationships with client executives and strive to serve as their trusted advisor
+ Leverage industry expertise and market sensibilities to propose a forward-leaning refinement or extension of Cognizant's practice offerings, and leads in the management of strategic control points in the development of these offerings
+ Develop a long-term vision for the practice, and works with others to standardize consulting tools, methods, curricula, and career development requirements
+ Lead the recruitment of consulting talent and the creation of a strong talent pipeline
+ Mentor and coach consulting associates, and lead people development and community-building activities
+ Author thought leadership insights on behalf of the practice and advocate within Cognizant for the recognition of Consulting's contribution to Cognizant's profitability and market brand;
+ Participate in industry panels and forums to promote Cognizant's capabilities, and to gather insights on emerging business needs, requirements, technology, and competitive challenges

**Qualifications**
+ 20+ years of experience in deep domain or extensive cross-sector business management, including the creation and go-to-market execution of practice offers (pricing, resourcing, marketing) in Healthcare.
+ A background of extensive management consulting leadership as a practice leader, or business or solution developer
+ A successful track record of setting and achieving engagement targets, controlling budgets, managing forecasts, and driving an organization of professional consultants in winning business and achieving financial targets
+ Possessing a robust network of contacts and presence in professional organizations and industry forums
+ International experience supporting or driving global initiatives
+ Experience in building results-oriented, high-performing consulting teams or organizations recognized for excellence
