Robert Half is currently seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Coordinator/Assistant to support the Human Resources team of a thriving company in Addison, TX. This position is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about HR operations and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The HR Coordinator/Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day HR functions while fostering a positive employee experience.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
+ Employee Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing new hire packets, conducting orientations, and ensuring timely completion of required documentation.
+ Recruitment Assistance: Support hiring efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, conducting initial candidate screenings, and maintaining ATS databases.
+ Benefits Support: Assist employees with benefits questions, enrollment processes, and liaise with benefits providers as needed.
+ Record Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
+ Payroll Coordination: Provide administrative support to payroll processes, including attendance tracking, updating pay records, and resolving employee payroll queries.
+ Compliance Tasks: Stay updated on employment regulations and assist in monitoring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
+ HR Reporting: Generate HR-related reports (e.g., turnover, recruitment metrics) and contribute to strategic HR initiatives.
+ Special Projects: Support HR leadership with ad hoc projects, event coordination, and employee engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required if equivalent work experience is present.
+ Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience as an HR Assistant, Coordinator, or related role (internship experience may be considered).
+ Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
+ Technical Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
+ Knowledge: Basic understanding of Texas employment laws and HR best practices.

Job Description
We are looking for two organized and detail-driven Human Resources Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. The Human Resources Coordinator will play a vital part in auditing and maintaining personnel files to ensure compliance with organizational standards. This position is based onsite in Northridge, California, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a significant HR compliance project.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews and audits of personnel files to ensure they meet compliance and organizational standards.
- Update and maintain employee records in both electronic and paper formats, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify gaps in documentation and proactively resolve discrepancies by coordinating with appropriate stakeholders.
- Perform manual data entry and updates within HR systems and spreadsheets.
- Manage archived employee files stored both onsite and offsite, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Verify and reconcile employee data across paper and electronic systems to maintain consistency.
- Provide support to HR leadership with documentation requests and progress tracking during the audit process.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
- Work collaboratively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, HR compliance, or records management.
- Strong knowledge of HR personnel files and compliance documentation requirements.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other HR systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Must be available to work onsite Monday through Friday.
