Koch Fertilizer in Wever, Iowa, is looking for a Technical Analyst to join our Operations Technology Field Solutions team. This role will partner with site leaders and teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and secure technology solutions that optimize operational performance, drive continuous improvement, and uphold our commitment to safety and sustainability. They will take ownership of our site technology infrastructure and play an integral role in aligning technology with business goals. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills will be necessary in this position.

You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team of technical professionals who are passionate about innovation and excellence in the fertilizer industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and project management, to deliver top-tier technology solutions.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Technology Partnership
- Serve as the primary technology point of contact for the Wever site, building strong partnerships with operations, engineering, process control, and IT teams.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand operational challenges, working across disciplines to identify opportunities for improved reliability and innovative/secure solutions.
- Communicate technology roadmaps, cost forecasting, status updates, and potential impacts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
- Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Ownership
- Manage and maintain site infrastructure including networks, servers, wireless systems, and end-user devices.
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance through patching, antivirus, and vulnerability management.
- Monitor system performance and proactively drive improvements.
- Project & Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Lead IT/OT projects from concept to execution.
- Identify operational needs and generate technology solutions that create long term value.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver initiatives.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide hands-on support for IT/OT systems and industrial control equipment.
- Address incidents promptly & safely and leverage root cause analysis to reduce risk of recurrence.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 2+ years experience in IT or OT related role
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel (up to 10%)
What Will Put You Ahead
- IT/OT experience within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities
- Experience leveraging cross-functional teams (including 3rd party) to deliver projects on time and within budget
