**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Provides clinical services in accordance with their scope of practice to patients and their families including but not
limited to assessments, psycho-education, treatment planning, discharge planning and therapeutic counseling
support through evidenced based interventions in individual, family and group therapy.
Major Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors
· Conducts individual, group and family psychoeducational and process groups in accordance with state regulations
· Identifies cultural considerations, gender identity and preferred language for patients and family
· Completes assessments, group notes and all other documentation timely and in compliance with requirements (as appropriate to scope)
· Continuously assesses environment and patient's safety status and reports/responds to actual and potential safety issues or changes in the patient's condition
· Identifies risk factors, screening criteria and interventions for patients with special precautions (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement)
· Recognizes and acts upon unexpected assessment findings
· Develops treatment plans and attends treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis.
· Contributes to ensuring a safe structured milieu with evidence based treatment modalities/resources
· Maintains active and timely communication with patients, families, multidisciplinary team and continuum of care providers
· Understands state commitment processes, abuse reporting requirements, duty to warn and guardianship processes. Assists with documentation as required.
· Assesses, collaborates, and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge with the multidisciplinary team.
· Evaluates re-admissions for gaps in discharge planning processes, formulates a plan and implements new strategies
· Develops and maintains a community resource guide including access to public assistance/alternatives.
· Facilitates and participates in Community Education, Activities and Support Groups (as appropriate to scope)
· Conducts post-discharge follow-up if indicated
· Assists with Process and Quality Improvement initiatives
· Delivers patient care based on accepted standards of care
· Demonstrates appropriate application of age/developmental stage specific standards, policies and procedures, and guidelines in assessing and treating patients to ensure patient safety.

How you make a difference

The Travel Mental Health Professional provides clinical services across multiple locations under the guidance of supervisory staff. Responsibilities include delivering individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychological assessments in correctional settings. The role involves documenting clinical interactions, creating service reports, and consulting with institutional staff. Additional duties include diagnostic evaluations, participation in quality improvement, and providing mental health training. Frequent travel is required to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services including therapy, crisis intervention, and assessments

• Complete clinical documentation, service reports, and treatment evaluations

• Consult with staff and support mental health management of persons served

• Participate in program development, training, and quality improvement initiatives

EDUCATION

• Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university

EXPERIENCE

• Must be able and willing to travel up to 100% of the time

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure from the appropriate state licensing board

• Must maintain CPR certification and any other certifications (such as First Aid) required

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Mental Health Professional III role will deliver exceptional psychiatric treatment to patients and their loved ones. The position prioritizes the satisfaction of their patients by offering patient-centered and high-quality care. The responsibilities include evaluations, psycho-education, group activities, planning for treatment, mapping out discharge, and providing therapeutic counseling help. They work to produce positive outcomes for their patients by using verified techniques in one-on-one, family, and group counseling sessions.
**This work is primarily at our remote site at Zona Rosa, but will also include traveling to our main campus at Research Psychiatric Unit.**
**This position will be specifically for Adolescence Mental Health.**
What will you do in this role:
+ Maintains effective communication with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and continuum of care providers. Maintains professionalism and uses good communication skills to interact with peers, staff, patients, and families, and resolve conflicts. Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to maintain clear professional boundaries with peers, patients, and families.
+ Provides education and guidance about state commitment processes, abuse reporting requirements, the duty to warn, and guardianship processes.
+ Demonstrates knowledge and role in hospital codes.
+ Serves as an educational resource to patients, families, interdisciplinary team members, payer representatives, and other parties as appropriate about behavioral services.
+ Reviews, coaches, and helps with the training of new staff/interns as assigned within approved practice and program guidelines. Participates in developing department goals and clinical programming.
+ Performs utilization review as assigned.
+ Helps with Process and Quality Improvement initiatives.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Masters Degree
+ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

**How you make a difference**
The Travel Mental Health Professional provides clinical services across multiple locations under the guidance of supervisory staff. Responsibilities include delivering individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychological assessments in correctional settings. The role involves documenting clinical interactions, creating service reports, and consulting with institutional staff. Additional duties include diagnostic evaluations, participation in quality improvement, and providing mental health training. Frequent travel is required to meet organizational needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Deliver clinical services including therapy, crisis intervention, and assessments
+ Complete clinical documentation, service reports, and treatment evaluations
+ Consult with staff and support mental health management of persons served
+ Participate in program development, training, and quality improvement initiatives
+ Travel 100% to provide services across multiple facilities
**Additional Details**
his position would require travel throughout the NE. Covering where we have vacancies and/or training new hires.
The best candidates would be either an internal candidate or independently licensed (LCSW) with corrections experience.

We are currently seeking afull-time Mental Health Professional to join our team atLowell Correctional Institution located inOcala, Florida.

TheMental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

8am-4:30pm; Monday - Friday
Salary - Registered Interns - $70K and fully licensed - $80K plus benefits

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSWorLMFT
