Overview

The Commerce Manager is responsible for managing all things Commerce for an enterprise digital account to ensure the program meets client objectives and helps grow their online business. The Manager will partner with clients to address the Commerce media landscape and work with client stakeholders to develop a plan across Commerce platforms.

The Manager will manage Commerce programs across Amazon (AMS), Amazon DSP, Criteo Retail Exchange, Triad (WMG), and other commerce networks. The Manager is accountable for maintaining accurate spend levels and hitting stated revenue amidst online growth goals. Proven account management in the Commerce space, along with experience in online marketing and digital media is required.

Responsibilities

Role Objectives:

Account Management
  • Responsible for gathering the research and data needed to formulate tactical plan development and recommendation for client delivery
  • Ultimate oversight for all day-to-day Commerce budget and billing activity (pacing, Prisma management, draft billing, accuracy of budgets vs. strategy flowcharts)
  • Responsible for presenting recommendations, soliciting feedback, and directing the Analyst(s) to apply client feedback to campaigns
  • Actively contribute to account strategy including annual budget development, KPIs, partner selection, new tactics, and tracking industry developments
  • Review paperwork necessary for purchase authorization and ensure vendor counter signature is received

  • Development and recommendation of optimizations and/or testing plans (e.g. new vendors, new targeting segments, new types of creative to test, new flighting strategy, test and learn agenda)
  • Responsible for campaign reporting and developing strategic insights with clear actionable items
  • Responsible for building clear, concise, and cohesive quantitative analyses inclusive of strong data visualization
  • Lead client status and reporting calls including presentation of reporting
  • Primary contact for resolving billing discrepancies in partnership with client strategy and billing reconciliation team
  • Lead client relationship with day to day contact and partner agencies (where applicable) by ensuring a seamless communication process
  • Responsible for timely response to daily communication regarding campaign level inquiries (client, vendors, internal)
  • Maintain professional, productive rapport with sales representatives/media vendors
  • Demonstrate creativity and agility when problem solving prior to elevation to Associate Director
  • Partner with Associate Director to ensure upcoming deliverables are being proactively addressed

Team Management
  • Provide direction to Analyst(s) on how to build a new campaign across all Commerce tactics and platforms
  • Review and package for delivery to client, including full QA
  • Serve as lead for training of new Analyst(s) and be a resource for ad hoc questions
  • Work closely with Analyst(s) to establish priorities and manage workload
  • Provide direction to Analyst(s) for purposes of campaign structure, budget, and targeting development
  • Responsible for final QA before delivery to client and launch
  • Responsible for Analyst(s) management of campaign budgets, pacing, and campaign adjustments
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on account management experience in online advertising with a focus on Commerce
  • In-depth activation and optimization experience with Amazon and Criteo platforms
  • 1+ years of demonstrated success in managing and leading people

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Avanos is seeking a Senior Salesforce B2B & B2C Commerce Cloud Developer to design, develop, and optimize Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions for both B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms. This role will focus on customizing and extending Commerce Cloud capabilities, integrating with SAP ERP and third-party services, and ensuring high-performance, scalable commerce solutions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Salesforce B2B & B2C Commerce Cloud development, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, API integrations, and UX/UI wireframing with Figma, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to enhance Avanos' eCommerce ecosystem.

This role will be required to be onsite at our Alpharetta Corporate office as well as at our Innovation and Development Lab, located in the Corporate Innovation Center at Georgia Tech in Midtown Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce B2B and B2C Commerce Cloud Development & Implementation

  • Design and develop customized B2B & B2C Commerce Cloud solutions to support Avanos' eCommerce strategy.
  • Implement and extend Commerce Cloud Digital, Page Designer, Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA), and B2B Commerce functionalities.
  • Develop custom APIs, batch processes, and integrations for seamless data exchange between Salesforce and backend systems.
  • Customize and configure Product Catalogs, Pricing, Promotions, Shopping Cart, Checkout, business processes within Salesforce and Order Management workflows.
  • Enhance user experience and storefront design using Figma wireframes and prototypes before implementation.
  • Build responsive, mobile-friendly storefronts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and LWC.
  • Optimize search and navigation using Salesforce Einstein AI and Site Search enhancements.
  • Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support application functionality.
  • Ensure seamless integration with backend systems, including ERP, CRM, and third-party applications.

Integration & API Management

  • Integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud with SAP S/4HANA ERP, SAP Integration Suite, CPQ, and third-party payment gateways.
  • Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations with external platforms, including tax, shipping, fraud prevention, and marketing automation systems.
  • Support bi-directional integration between Commerce Cloud and SAP for pricing, inventory, order transactions, and customer data synchronization.
  • Work with SAP-BTP, Highradius payment gateway, Vonage, middleware platforms, and ETL tools to ensure seamless system connectivity.

Security, Compliance & Performance Optimization

  • Ensure all development meets Avanos' security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize Commerce Cloud performance by implementing caching strategies, indexing, and content delivery network (CDN) enhancements.
  • Ensure scalability and high availability of the eCommerce platform, improving page load speeds and transaction processing.
  • Implement security best practices, including authentication, data encryption, and compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
  • Partner with IT security teams to implement data protection measures.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance and eCommerce transactions.

DevOps & Deployment

  • Manage code promotion, sandbox environment management, and release processes using Salesforce DevOps tools (SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Copado, Jenkins).
  • Define and execute unit tests, automated regression tests, and performance tests to maintain code quality and system stability.
  • Work closely with QA teams and business analysts to ensure smooth deployments and minimize production issues.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver eCommerce solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews, requirement analysis, and solution architecture discussions.
  • Utilize Figma or other wireframes tools to communicate UI/UX requirements and collaborate with designers for a seamless user experience.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of new eCommerce features and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high system availability and user satisfaction
  • Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends in B2B Commerce Cloud and eCommerce solutions.
  • Recommend enhancements and automation to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprints, code reviews, and backlog refinement.

Your qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Salesforce development, including 2+ years in B2B & B2C Commerce Cloud development (SFCC / CloudCraze).
  • Expertise in Commerce Cloud Digital, Page Designer, SFRA, and B2B Lightning Storefronts.
  • Strong Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP API development skills.
  • Experience integrating Commerce Cloud with SAP ERP, SAP Integration Suite, CPQ, and third-party services.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, SFDX, and Salesforce DevOps tools.
  • Proficiency in Figma like tools for wireframing, prototyping, and UI/UX design collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce business processes, including pricing, promotions, cart & checkout workflows, and order management.
  • Experience with security best practices, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, Apex, SOQL, SOSL, XML, HTML, JSON, Visualforce, JavaScript, and development of Lightning Components (LWC).
  • Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP) and third-party application integrations.
  • Expertise of Salesforce security, data modeling, and system architecture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred:

  • Salesforce B2B or B2C Commerce Cloud Developer certification.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II
  • Experience with AI-powered personalization and Salesforce Einstein Commerce solutions

Position Description :

Oversees all E-Commerce operations, including E-Commerce projects, collections, security, safety, processing sales, Team Member management, financial performance, department budget, strategy, and margin goals for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Mentors and trains E-Commerce Assistant Managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Maximizes revenue and margin from donated goods through online sales.
  • Oversees security procedures and audits incoming merchandise for loss control.
  • Analyzes sales and expense reports to improve margin, revenue, and processes.
  • Maximizes sales performance through proper listing, handling, rotation, and shipping of all merchandise.
  • Oversees business unit operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Overall responsibility for department budget.
  • Provides positive and professional working relationships with peers, team members, and outside vendors to ensure effective operation of E-Commerce.
  • Oversees the proper procedures for handling and sales of E-Commerce merchandise.
  • Implements and maintains procedures to maximize efficiencies in production, sales, customer service, and receipt of store donations with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensures proper adherence by store and E-Commerce team members to policies and procedures.
  • Provides information and counsel concerning retail operations to the VP of Retail that supports strategic development and improvements in growth and effectiveness of GCNA retail services.
  • Ensures timeliness and accuracy of all required reports and records.
  • Works with the Director to develop strategies that will react to trends and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure we're receiving the highest value on each item.
  • Works with the Director for continuous growth in department.
  • Builds a high-performing team to maximize donated goods being sent to E-Commerce.
  • Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
  • Responsible for performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of team members.
  • Plays critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) :
  • Associates degree in Business or related field, preferred
  • Minimum 4 years' experience of demonstrated E-Commerce management experience with Goodwill or related retail experience
  • Prior jewelry knowledge or sales preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
