What we’re looking for:

Our summer intern program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled full-time students at an accredited four-year college or university. The internships run from May to August – dependent on the school calendar. The goal of the Indorama Intern Program is to provide a structured program that will equip interns with the skills and experience to help prepare for a successful career.

After initial orientation, intern will be assigned to Manufacturing Information Systems Management group, and under close supervision will provide technical support.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• After initial orientation, intern will be assigned to the Technology & Manufacturing Performance group to work with other team members. Intern will:

• Create or Assist in the creation of end-user tools such as web pages and .net applications that interface with various production databases.

• Develop SQL queries, reports and automated excel spreadsheets.

• Monitor and maintain system backups, software patches and server upgrades.

• Under management supervision, ensure that activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system, as applicable (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality and responsible care requirements).

Education/Experience/Skills Requirements

• Full time college student at the Junior or Senior level by the end of Spring 2026 semester

• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a BS in Computer Science, Lamar University highly preferred

• 3.0 GPA or higher required

Specific Skills and Knowledge

• Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.

• Able to build relationships across all organizational lines.

• Able to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

• Ability to perform research and analysis.

• Must be willing to commit to the summer program for the entire 10-week program.

Summer Internship Program

The program is a 12-week paid internship immersive experience that provides functional learning working on robust and challenging project work , Executive and Senior leadership engagement, and exposure to Danaher Business System fundamentals. The program culminates with a report-out presentation to leaders from the organization. After successful completion of the program, interns will be considered to return as a full-time associate upon graduation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field (preferred Junior/Senior year equivalent).

• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to a ssist in the delivery of Power BI reports and in scripts development for automated testing.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Power BI: Power Query, modeling, reports, and dashboards.

• Node.js or C# development.

The hourly range for this role is $30.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
