Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and application guidance to customers using the company's energy-efficient semiconductor solutions .

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong understanding of power electronics, analog and mixed-signal design, and low-power semiconductor applications .
  • Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and power management techniques .
  • Hands-on experience with testing and debugging semiconductor components , using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and simulation tools .
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers .
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, training, and technical support.

As an Application Engineer Specialist in 3M's Display & Electronics Product Platforms (DEPP) lab, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Driving new product evaluations at semiconductor customers to win business through data-driven interactions and developing customer-specific applications and data packages demonstrating 3M product performance.

  • Partnering with semiconductor customer and ecosystem partners to develop Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) processes for customer device manufacturing, demonstrating the value of 3M solutions to gain new business or prevent the loss of existing business.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)

  • Three (3) years of experience in a private, public, government, or military environment in one of more of the following areas: gathering material process data, computer added design, product information, or material property information

  • Two (2) years of combined engineering and/or academic research experience in semiconductor fabrication and/or electronic devices

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's or Doctorate's degree in science or engineering discipline.

  • 3 Years' hands on experience running CMP processes at a semiconductor manufacturing facility or as a consumables or tool supplier in CMP area.

  • Strong project management skills.

The Sr. Sales Manager position is an individual contributor responsible for managing all aspects of component sales (sensors and semiconductors) including management of the relationship with automotive OEMs and automotive Tier-1 customers.

+ **Commercial Management:** You will oversee the commercial activities for defined directed-buy Tier customers, OEM business, and foundry business. **Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
