What you'll do as SEO Manager:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple clients.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives, and tailor SEO initiatives accordingly.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
  • Implement on-page and off-page optimization techniques to improve website visibility and rankings.
  • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures, for enhanced search engine visibility and user experience.
  • Drive content strategy development, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and client objectives.
  • Create engaging blog posts, articles, and other content formats to attract qualified leads.
  • Monitor website performance and SEO metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and recommendations to clients, ensuring clear communication of strategies and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain optimal performance.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • 3+ years of experience implementing SEO best practices with proven results across various CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and business verticals, including B2B, e-commerce, and content-driven sites.
  • Hands-on experience conducting technical SEO audits, including analysis of crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Proficiency with industry tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console to identify and resolve technical issues and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Strong working knowledge of structured data/schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and site performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute content marketing strategies aligned with SEO goals.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on SEO optimization and keyword integration.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms; strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to guide strategy.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, including the capacity to present complex concepts in layman's terms and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Work Ripple is seeking a full-time Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager to join the small but mighty content marketing team. This person will have full ownership over SEO strategy, execution and reporting, collaborating closely with internal partners and serving as the main point of contact with external agencies to set and implement the strategy across multiple domains. What You’ll Do SEO strategy development Conduct keyword research and refresh target keyword lists as needed to align to business strategies and objectives Provide optimization recommendations for on-page elements (title tags, meta descriptions, etc.) Implement link-building strategies (internal linking and back-linking for domain authority) Employ the strategic use of AI tools for SEO as needed Performance analysis Monitor and report on SEO metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis Analyze website performance and conduct regular technical audits across domains Provide and implement actionable insights for improvement Web engineering support Collaborate with the web experience team to ensure technical SEO best practices Assist in website updates as needed Ensure website architecture supports SEO goals Lead weekly SEO meetings with the web experience team and serve as lead project manager to align on technical tasks What You'll Bring A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in SEO and proficiency in SEO tools (GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, GSC, AWR) Strong analytical skills Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills Experience working in B2B SaaS/enterprise environments is required Writing and editing experience (blog content, web copy, video titles and descriptions, etc.) is a major plus Familiarity with blockchain/crypto/fintech is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience working with and managing agency partners Experience with paid search campaigns and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is nice to have (but not required) For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.
