Project Overview

The Risk Controls Enhancements (RCE) initiative is an enterprise-wide modernization and consolidation effort for Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC) processes, data, and reporting.

Role Summary

The Senior Business Analyst, GRC/IRM, is a subject matter expert in risk management procfesses, responsible for defining and documenting business requirements for the ServiceNow IRM platform. This role involves leading discovery workshops, conducting process analysis, and acting as the functional owner of the solution to ensure it aligns with business goals and best practices. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure that the ServiceNow IRM solution effectively addresses strategic GRC objectives.

Experience Level

5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow IRM, with a deep focus on GRC processes and modules.

10+ years of professional experience in risk management, GRC, or a related field, demonstrating an indepth understanding of enterprise risk, and controls processes.

Proven track record of success in gathering and translating complex business requirements into clear, functional specifications for large-scale ServiceNow IRM implementations.

Expertise in core IRM capabilities such as Risk Identification, Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), Issue Management, Incident Management, Loss Events, and Controls Testing.

Qualifications

Deep functional understanding of the ServiceNow IRM suite and its capabilities, including Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, and Audit Management.

In-depth knowledge of GRC and risk management frameworks and best practices.

Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Proven ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and present complex information to all levels of the organization.

Bachelor degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

Experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies. Experience with other risk management software or enterprise risk processes

Lead workshops and conduct interviews with business stakeholders to define, analyze, and validate GRC/IRM requirements. The base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. About the role:

The Solutions Engineer ensures the success of both GoFreight and its customers—starting from the prospect stage, through solution design and implementation, and continuing until handoff to Customer Success (CS) for long-term nurturing. This role bridges business value, technical feasibility, and customer outcomes, making sure success is defined, aligned, and achieved at every stage of engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales, CS, and EPD teams to define what "success" means for each customer from the very beginning of the engagement.
  • Design, draft, and implement a Success Plan, ensuring alignment and sign-off from both customer stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Lead technical discovery and deliver tailored demos and short trials that highlight GoFreight's differentiation and ROI.
  • Clearly articulate the proposed solution, its value, and how it aligns with customer goals to both external stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Guide customers through each stage of the journey—from prospect to adoption—ensuring their business value realization.

Compensation and OTE Structure:

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Experience: 7-10 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical pre-sales role within the cybersecurity industry, with 3-5 years of experience with SOC tools 

• Cybersecurity Expertise: Strong understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, common challenges such as alert fatigue and talent shortages, and key security technologies (SIEM, EDR, XDR, SOAR). 

• Cloud Security Knowledge: Proven experience and strong knowledge of cloud security platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, and their associated security services. 

• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with network engineering, operating systems, virtual machines, containers, and identity and access management (IAM) solutions. 

• Timezone Commitment: This role will primarily support customers across North and South America. Occasionally as needed you may need to help with customers outside this zone.
