Responsibilities:Lead Driver
The Driver is responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments and outings using the community vehicles; which may include bus, van, limousine, sedan and trams. This position
ensures residents receive all appropriate assistance during outings. Driver fulfills all operational tasks involving driving and assists the Lifestyle Director with scheduling, recordkeeping and training.
Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum of 6 months experience as a bus/van driver. Must possess a valid and current driver's license for vehicle class driven at time of hire. Must be willing to obtain CDL (Commercial Driver's License/ Class B Endorsement). Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be willing and able to become CPR and First Aid certified.

Encompass Therapy Center is hiring a motivated and enthusiastic Transportation Driver to provide transportation to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) receiving services at Encompass Therapy Center. Drivers will be responsible for transporting clients to and from their home and the center in Bay City, MI. A company vehicle, which includes maintenance, fuel, and insurance will be provided for this position. Encompass Therapy Center is accredited through the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide transportation for up to five children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Communicate with families as needed
- Communicate via phone to the center as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle including, but not limited to, cleaning at the end of each day and inspecting the vehicle as needed
- Hours may vary and range between 7:30am-9:30am & 2:30pm-5:00pm
- Full-Time may be an option for those qualified and interested in working part-time as a Behavior Technician

- Cleans/Disinfects vehicle at the end of the shift and instructs passengers to clean up their trash before they depart.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in driving passengers is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and be eligible for tribal insurance.
- AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, and pass Tribal Background check.
