Job Description
- Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory.
- Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
- Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers' instructions.
- Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.
- Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies.
- Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required.
- Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations.
- May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations.
- High school diploma or GED
Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $20.00 per hour depending on experience.

HIRING FOR: General Warehouse Associate - $5 per hour plus 2.00 shift differential
- Weekend FT Shift (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday): 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (plus OT)
No experience required. Paid on-the-job training.

Qualifications
This position, which may vary depending on specific job assignment, performs tasks associated with the storage, process and shipment of product while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance and behavioral Vitamin Shoppe expectations. Effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF Scanners), and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the Warehouse
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience.
Skill and Ability:
-
Able to operate held RF scanner or other devices associated with Warehouse Management System
-
Able to meet safety, quality, productivity and attendance requirements
-
Able to do continuous lifting up to 50 pounds
-
Able to communicate in English
-
Able to work in a fast pace environment
-
Able to work in a team environment
-
Able and willing to work overtime when required

Warehouse Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Warehouse Associate for a company based in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for safely loading and unloading materials on/off delivery trucks.
Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 30 am to 4 30 pm.
Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to load/unload materials on/off delivery trucks; ability to receive materials in the warehouse
• Ability to ensure that inventory is properly labeled and accurately stored
• Ability to pick and stage customer orders
• Excellent customer service abilities
Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• Ability to lift 80 lbs. on a regular basis
• Forklift Certified
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience
• Pass drug screen and background
