Journeyman Electrician Needed at Assured Power, a division of A-1 Services
Assured Power, Inc. is a growing full-service licensed electrical contractor serving Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois.
Assured Power, Inc. is looking to hire Electricians. Our Electricians work in a fast paced environment and are the face of our organization in the field.
- Installs, services, and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, wiring, and specialized electrical equipment and machinery
- Diagnoses cause of electrical problems and failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair.
- Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and building regulations.
- Inspects electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.
- Installs electrical system components (conductors, splice cable, lighting, alarms, electrical panels, switches, circuits) for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded electrical capabilities.
- Lays underground conduit for electrical lines and installs low voltage electric lines and conduits for telephone systems.
- Maintains assigned vehicle, equipment, and tools for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition.
- Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
- Any other duties assigned by your supervisor/owner

Qualifications :
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- 3 - 5 years of related experience
- Experience of electrical and control circuit knowledge
- Superb customer service skills
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
- Ability to work some nights, weekend, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size
- Own industry’s standard hand tools

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is looking to expand our services in the state of Wisconsin, and we are recruiting for an Engineering Technician to join our transportation service team. In Wisconsin, we have offices in Appleton and Madison but are open to expanding our team in other areas of the state. Our ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of roadway design experience supporting public sector projects.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork as a key member of a roadway design team under the direction of various project engineers/managers. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Work with a team in the preparation of plans and cost estimates for projects of various size and complexity
- Work with a team, or independently, in the preparation of various roadway design elements using local (state, county or city) and/or AASHTO standards, including horizontal and vertical alignments; plan and profile; utility design and relocation; streetscape and roadway improvements; bicycle and pedestrian facilities; signing, striping and signalization
- Prepare detailed construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D
- Produce high quality work and perform quality assurance checks
- Coordinate with other disciplines and support services
- Identify applicable codes, standards, or other design requirements
- Supervise the work of less experienced technical support personnel
- Mentor and train technical support personnel
- Ensures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service
- Lead by example - display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism
- 5+ years' experience in roadway design
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification in Autodesk Civil3D
- Expert in Autodesk Civil3D and Bluebeam
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet project deadlines
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
