YouTube Strategy Contractor
to lead its entire YouTube presence. As a key member of the Marketing team, you'll be responsible for defining, executing, and optimizing a comprehensive YouTube strategy to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and community engagement.

6-month contract

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development:
Develop and own the end-to-end YouTube strategy, including content pillars, editorial calendar, and KPIs that align with the company's broader marketing goals. - Content & Campaign Management:
Create a creative strategy aligned with YouTube's best practices. Oversee content production from ideation and scripting to publishing, ensuring a steady pipeline of content to support media plans. Manage both evergreen and campaign-driven content in partnership with the internal creative studio. - Measurement Framework:
Build and implement a measurement framework in partnership with key platform partners to assess campaign effectiveness. - Performance Analysis:
Conduct in-depth analysis using YouTube Analytics and third-party tools to monitor performance, identify content gaps, and inform future strategy. - SEO & Optimization:
Execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies for every video, including keyword research, title and description optimization, and strategic tagging to maximize discoverability. - Audience & Community:
Drive community engagement by monitoring comments, identifying trends, and fostering a positive and active user base. Develop strategies to convert viewers into loyal customers and advocates. - Collaboration:
Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure the YouTube strategy supports integrated campaigns and aligns with brand messaging across the business. - Reporting:
Create and present regular reports on channel growth, engagement, and conversion metrics to key stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in YouTube strategy, channel management, or a related role with a strong portfolio showcasing past successes.
- Deep expertise in YouTube's platform, algorithm, best practices, and current trends in the creator economy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and creative direction.
