Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and produce accurate P&Ls for each concept

• Build and maintain KPI dashboards (sales mix, labour %, COGS %, prime costs) using both traditional and AI-powered analytics tools to detect trends and anomalies

• Provide cash-flow reporting and rolling forecasts; leverage AI to identify efficiency opportunities and cost-saving measures

• Manage AP/AR: enter & reconcile invoices, propose weekly payments, maintain ageing reports

• Record and reconcile bank, credit-card, and payroll transactions; oversee cash handling

• Implement and optimize accounting systems and AI-enabled automation (QuickBooks Online, PlateIQ, Bill.com) to streamline processes

• Liaise with external CPA on sales-tax filings, audits, and year-end reviews


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred

• 5+ years’ restaurant or hospitality finance experience

• Expertise with GAAP, QuickBooks (multi-entity), AP automation tools, and AI-based financial analysis platforms

• Experience integrating AI tools for forecasting, KPI monitoring, and variance analysis

• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to present complex financial data to non-finance leaders

+ Perform competitive analysis, pricing, and/or cost modeling
+ Link business strategy to financial reporting at various levels (from a discrete service to overall offerings, or from a DC level to global performance) using KPIs, and goal setting
