Key Responsibilities
Multi-Property Financial Oversight
- Consolidate and oversee financial reporting across all properties.
- Ensure consistency in accounting policies and procedures at each location.
- Conduct regular property-level audits and variance analysis.
Revenue Management Collaboration
- Work closely with Revenue Managers to forecast revenues based on occupancy, ADR (average daily rate), and RevPAR (revenue per available room).
- Help optimize pricing strategy by integrating financial forecasting with market demand data.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop annual budgets for each property and the group overall.
- Analyze monthly P&L statements, identify cost-saving opportunities, and forecast financial trends.
Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Monitor daily cash balances across properties.
- Optimize working capital through AP/AR oversight and cash flow management.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Establish SOPs for cash handling, POS reconciliation, procurement, and petty cash.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, licensing, health & safety financial standards, and audit requirements.
Payroll & Labor Cost Management
- Oversee payroll processing and labor cost analysis (a key cost driver in hospitality).
- Work with HR and Operations to align staffing levels with budget and seasonality.
Systems & Technology
- Implement or manage PMS-integrated accounting systems (e.g., Opera, M3, Sage Intacct).
- Automate reporting and increase visibility into operational performance metrics.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Business Administration
- Hospitality Management (with strong finance courses)
Nice to have but not required
- Master’s degree (MBA or master’s in accounting/finance)
Certifications
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- CMA (Certified Management Accountant) – Focuses more on internal financial planning and analysis
- CHAE (Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive) – Specific to hospitality finance (offered by HFTP)
At least 3 years experience in similar role for a national, multi-unit restaurant company.

JOB PURPOSE
The role holder will work with the Fremont site management team to ensure the site achieves its financial budgets, forecast and strategic plan growth targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide timely, accurate and insightful financial reporting to the Fremont site and Photonics Division management teams to ensure financial budgets, forecasts are achieved or exceeded.
- Oversee the development of the site's budget, forecasts and financial strategic plans.

- Liaise with the Group's external auditors as required to provide requested information and explanations to support a smooth and efficient audit of the site.

- Together with Fremont Site management develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the efficient, profitable operation of the site's manufacturing activities.
- As requested by Group Finance provide ad hoc support and share expertise as part of Group Finance projects. This will include:
- Supporting the annual reviews of other sites adherence to the G&H financial controls framework.
- Supporting project to improve the efficient operation of Finance function activities.

- High-level proficiencies in QuickBooks and Excel/ GoogleSheet
- Experience in entrepreneurial environments with managing multiple sets of books/revenue streams
- Extreme attention to detail in conjunction with flexibility to handle fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Self-Starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

The Controller will take full ownership of the companys books by providing detailed maintenance, management and oversight of all books and related financial records, providing critical organization and support to the business. This person is responsible for the full cycle of accounting for the company, including regular bookkeeping/accounting/maintenance of the books, month-end close, A/P management & processing, financial reporting.

With many years of experience investing in St. Louis real estate, their main business is Wholesaling, Residential and Commercial Rentals, Rehabs, Property Management, Buying Distressed RE Collateralized Debt and Seller-Finance Mortgages. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Full Cycle Accounting
- Month-end close and financial reporting
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Journal entries to record real estate specific activity (asset purchase and disposal, hard money and seller financing loans, refinances, etc.)
- Work closely with business owners and outsourced agency to support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, strategic planning, and new business development
- Review and publish profit figures for all wholesale, wholetail, and rehab details
- G/L account reconciliations
- Intercompany loan management and reconciliations
- Credit card expense/receipt tracking
- Routing operation reporting
- Prepare payroll commissions for sales team and post payroll entries (external payroll company processes payroll)
