Under general supervision and within the limitations of Association policy, the Paralegal provides contractual and legal research support and assists in the analysis of contractual disputes, with particular focus on assuring pilot schedules and assignments are consistent with contractual requirements. They work closely with MEC officers, representatives, and committee volunteers to assist in gathering information and evidence in order to review and analyze potential contract issues and support and assist in the development of strategies and tactics for resolution. They interact with pilot members to assess whether potential disputes exist under the collective bargaining agreement and, if so, support pilot efforts to informally resolve the dispute with management while also handling contractual appeals of disputes that are not resolved earlier in the resolution process, including the subsequent processing of cases to the System Board of Adjustment. The Paralegal also provides assistance to Labor Relations Counsel in the preparation and presentation of cases at the Board and the research and drafting of post-hearing briefs. They also provide support and assistance in the preparation and processing of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) enforcement cases at all stages, up to and including appeals and filing appeal briefs. Individual responsibility and administrative ability are both required to ensure that tasks are carried out as assigned and important deadlines are met.

Minimum Requirements:

As an Aerospace Systems Engineer, you will design and engineer the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations. You will work with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Based upon your desired career path, your projects may include many aspects of applied systems engineering including system definition, systems test, system integration, system safety, operations and system verification of fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems.
Decompose internal customer requirements and requests into test system requirements specifications, including bi-directional traceability.
Develop & manage interfaces through requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and drawings.

Qualifications :

Northwest Aerospace Technologies (NAT), a Safran Company, is the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. Focusing on commercial and military aircraft, NAT provides design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing services for a variety of customers.
The Senior Electrical Design Engineer is the technical expert and will have mastery of multi-discipline/multi-skillset engineering design and substantiation, and will have an understanding of FAA and EASA certification, and industry processes. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer has the following scope of work: acts as a leader and a technical resource/consultant for the Engineering group; responsible for producing engineering and mentoring others in the Engineering group; ensures the quality of drawings and documents produced in Engineering; assists the Project Engineer by helping define the structure and organization of a project; drawing and document approval authority; resolves technical issues and makes final technical decisions; coordinates with Operations, Suppliers, and the Customer; contributes to preparation of NAT proposals including the statement of work, non-recurring engineering estimates, and the parts kit list.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development and substantiation of the installation of electrical components and systems into retrofit aircraft applications.
- Communicate with customers and team members; present technical content to a wide audience and provide guidance to other team members and disciplines.
- Develop proposals to install various electrical components and systems within an aircraft.
- Break down a Statement of Work (SOW) into smaller work packages and allocate to other engineers.
- Understand airworthiness requirements regarding installation of electrical systems, components and wiring within an aircraft.
- Develop engineering statements of work in preliminary stages of product/project development.
- Ensure NAT's drawings and documents meet the NAT quality system standards, customer requirements, and applicable certification requirements.
- Develop engineering packages from concept to production using engineering tools and personnel.
- Develop peer review check packages for engineering drawings.
- Ensure design content conforms to company procedures, the customer SOW, and applicable certification requirements.
- Work with ODA UMs and EASA CVEs to ensure designs are compliant with airworthiness requirements.
