  • Deliver new or amended certifications within a three-month target
  • Advise internal teams and partners on privacy requirements and solutions
  • Build scalable tools that automate compliance and detect violations
  • Operate independently on privacy initiatives and provide trusted expertise
  • Contribute to product development around data privacy and classification
  • Elevate HealthVerity's presence in the privacy community through thought leadership
You'll be measured by your ability to complete certifications end-to-end, improve internal privacy processes, and drive innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required skills and experience
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, privacy frameworks, and de-identification techniques
  • M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or a related field, or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in statistical modeling, information theory, and risk quantification
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python

  • Ability to independently manage privacy determinations and build automation around privacy transformations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired skills and experience

  • Experience with data transformation pipelines, privacy UDFs, and data quality enforcement tools
  • Contributions to the privacy community through research, presentations or publications
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $100,000 - 190,000 + annual bonus opportunity.
