Overview

The Yum! Digital and Technology Manager, D&T Transformation plays a critical role in driving the strategy and transformation that will continue to fuel Yum’s business growth and support our ambitious D&T agenda. This person will be an integral part of the Byte vertical, a revenue-generating B2B restaurant tech and SaaS business within the Yum! D&T organization. They will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to provide insights, recommendations and execution support for transformation initiatives.

The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, someone that can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can influence others even without direct authority. This role has significant exposure to the Yum tech leadership team (LT).

Responsibilities
  • Drive Workforce Modernization: Execute ambitious initiatives to transform our workforce, including leveraging offshore talent hubs, establishing global strategic partnerships, and deploying AI solutions to improve enterprise efficiency.
  • Executive Collaboration: Work directly with the executive leadership team, helping to lead weekly SteerCos, sharing analytical insights, and support day-to-day execution of transformative initiatives.
  • Global Financial Process Leadership: Lead the standardization and centralization of global technology financial processes – highlighting budget insights and opportunities for optimization.
  • Strategic Prioritization & Reporting: Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize technology investments, improve reporting accuracy, and ensure financials align with business priorities and investments.
  • Change Management: Champion adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working to ensure long-term success of transformation initiatives.

Experience/Skills
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive corporate experience working in Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Corporate Finance. Specific QSR experience is a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree from accredited 4-year university in Finance, Accounting or Business Management with knowledge of corporate financials (P&L, BS, CF) required; MBA/CPA/CMA/CFA preferred.
  • Growth mindset with high degree of self-motivation.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead & coordinate tasks/projects generating actionable recommendations with and through cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all layers of the organization.
  • Proficient/Advanced in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: 107,800 - 126,700

  • Benefits: Employees (and their eligible family members) may enroll in medical, dental, vision, legal, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, as well as FSA/HSA (depending on enrolled medical plan). Yum! also provides short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance. Employees may enroll in our 401(k) plan. Yum! provides 4 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, a floating day off and 2 paid days for volunteer time each calendar year.

Position Summary



The Technology and Digital Strategy Lead is a critical leadership role within Norfolk Southern's technology organization, reporting to the AVP, Technology and Digital Strategy. This role is designed for a highly strategic thinker with strong execution skills, responsible for shaping and driving key digital and technology initiatives.

Responsibilities



Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation:

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide technology and digital strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational priorities
  • Partner with business and IT leaders to define roadmaps, drive consensus, and translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives.
  • Define priorities and sequencing for cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, AI/automation, and other strategic technology investments.
  • Shape the future-state product and platforms oriented operating model, including governance structures, sourcing strategies, and capability development.

Emerging Technology & Innovation:

  • Identify and evaluate emerging technology trends (e.g., AI, cloud, IoT, data analytics) and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Partner with innovation and business teams to pilot and scale digital initiatives.
  • Build relationships with external technology partners, startups, and academia to explore co-innovation opportunities.

Program and Change Management:

  • Provide strategic oversight for large-scale technology programs, ensuring they deliver measurable business impact

  • Support change management efforts to drive adoption of new technologies and ways of working across the organization

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.) focused on technology strategy and digital transformations.
  • Strong track record of working with CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders to define and implement enterprise technology strategies.

  • Drive platform enhancements through ServiceNow upgrades and new feature implementations, including participation in semi-annual upgrades.
