**Summary**
CHS has an exciting and unique opportunity at our Global Grain & Processing export facility in **Myrtle Grove, LA** . We are looking for a ** Drone Pilot Intern**  to fly our UAVs (drones) for bird mitigation/deterrence missions. You may also be tasked with performing comprehensive visual inspections on critical infrastructure, collecting detailed imagery that will be used for analysis and reporting. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills by learning from and collaborating with a talented team of business and continuous learning professionals.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations, company policies, and procedures.
+ Coordinate with location managers to schedule flights
+ Perform preflight, flight and post-flight duties on aircraft
+ Upload and organize data from drone
+ Perform basic maintenance to keep drones functional
+ Responsible for completing daily flight logs
+ May include travel to our southern facilities in LA and TX.
+ **Shift could include dawn, dusk, weekdays, weekends - but would be a set schedule.**
**Minimum Qualifications (required)**
+ FAA Part 107 UAS Certificate.
+ Applicable UAS work experience (proof of flight time).
+ Excellent communication skills, customer focus, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated with confirmed leadership abilities, presentation skills and be able to function in a team-oriented. environment with resource and time constraints.
+ A passion for customers and product quality.
**Additional Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ Aviation experience preferred.
+ Photogrammetric (Pix4D, DroneDeploy, etc.) experience or certification.
+ Indoor inspections (Flyability Elios) experience.

**Responsibilities**
+ Operate drones and terrestrial scanning equipment for survey data collection, including photogrammetry, aerial and terrestrial LiDAR capture, registration, and data extraction (occasional travel may be required).
+ Assist in processing and managing point cloud and other survey datasets, ensuring accuracy and usability for project needs.
+ Assist in translating field data (points, sketches, photos, and reference maps) into comprehensive survey deliverables.
+ Collaborate closely with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality, on-time survey products that support projects in land development, transportation, infrastructure, and more.
+ Assist in producing clear, detailed CAD drawings and survey exhibits (e.g., subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys) using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Assist in researching boundary and easement title documents, perform boundary analysis, and prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for rights-of-way, easements, and acquisition parcels.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned in support of survey operations.

**Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of prior survey experience
+ Experience with conventional survey equipment a plus
+ Experience extracting LiDAR data is beneficial

The Event Drone Pilot will be responsible for managing all event security staff to provide a safe environment at the Frost Bank Center, Toyota Field, and grounds on event and non-event days; on days designated to operate the drone will do so in a safe manner. The Event Security Drone Pilot will report directly to the Security Manager on Duty and will oversee all aspects of the event security operation during event and non-event days, along with the drone program. When operating the drone, must be in compliance with the Federal Aviation Administrations' Small Unmanned Aircraft (UAS) Part 107. Drone Pilot will not be responsible for providing any of their own equipment, all required equipment will be supplied by SS&E.

What You'll Do:

• Responds to any guest safety and/or security issues in a timely manner and with the highest level of professionalism.
• Respond to emergencies and non-emergencies calls, and incidents are properly reported and documented.
• Act as a role model within and outside of the Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field.

Key Responsibilities
