Job Description Summary

Essential Functions
- Supports the Chief Government Affairs Officer by monitoring legislation, managing assignments, and representing the City at the Legislature, regional agencies, and Luke Air Force Base.
- Provides legislative support. Monitors and tracks legislative policy; solicits feedback from internal department directors and City staff; provides feedback / input to League of Arizona Cities and Towns; develops Council PowerPoint presentations for the City Manager's Office.
- Reviews and analyzes Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), Regional Public Transportation Agency (RPTA) agendas and policy documents; provides leadership and Council monthly briefings on all external agency related meetings; attends all regional functions, with or on behalf of city leadership; attends annual conferences with Council; attends other out-of-state functions related to regional agencies.
- Serves as transportation liaison for city/regional related projects that may have political element; coordinates and facilitates meetings with external agencies, such as Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT); participates in the City's transportation cross-functional meeting to exchange information; collaborates and coordinates transportation activities.
- Builds political support for regional decisions and key officer positions within various regional bodies; networks, builds and develops professional relationships with intergovernmental affairs representatives from other cities throughout the region; develops regional strategies as they pertain to MAG and RPTA; provides additional staff support for city leaders when they hold officer positions; serves as a coordinator for Grand Avenue Coalition meetings, including meeting logistics, invite list, agenda, and talking points for elected officials and management.
- Formal Education/Knowledge: Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

First Year Objectives
The following objectives will be completed in the first 90 days:
1. Meet with Chief Government Affairs Officer regularly to develop a clear understanding of expectations of the position.
2. Make introductions with the Mayor and each Councilmember to understand each of their goals, needs, and issues of importance.
3. Meet with each Deputy City Manager and Department Director to develop a clear understanding of their job duties and responsibilities and any issues of significance facing the City.
4. Develop an understanding of the city's organizational structure, including the function and responsibility of each City department.
5. Identify City departments that will assist with researching, analyzing and addressing key policy issues.
6. Become acquainted with and knowledgeable about all key City issues that relate to IGA.
7. Update required AZ Secretary of State lobbying forms.
8. Attend Goodyear employee orientation, complete benefits enrollment, and complete all required training.
9. Schedule introductory meetings with the following agencies and representatives:
- Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG); schedule a meeting with staff to develop a better understanding of the structure, role, and committee process of MAG.
- Valley Metro and city staff; to understand existing Goodyear transit routes.
- Each Arizona State Legislator representative for Goodyear; generate a dialogue about key policy issues and build upon relationships.
- Arizona League of Cities and Towns; develop an understanding of the organization's role and interaction with legislature.
- Local US Congressional and Senate staff; identify any federal issues that could have a significant impact on municipal operations.
11. Attend meetings and develop an understanding of key regional groups and organizations, including League of Arizona Cities and Towns, West Valley Partners, Luke West Valley Council, AMWUA, West Valley Mayors and Managers, WESTMARC, Valley Metro, MAG committee meetings, etc.
The following objectives will be completed in the first year:
- Attend meetings as required.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of City's legislative agenda.
4. Complete projects as assigned.
5. Work with management & staff to coordinate future infrastructure planning to the federal funding process through MAG and upcoming Congressional efforts.
6. Continue to strengthen relationships with the key stakeholders and staff members who influence local, regional, statewide, and national policy.
7. Facilitate a meeting with Goodyear legislative district representatives, Council, and Management.
8. Participate in ACMA and ICMA events/conferences as the schedule and budgets allow.

Information Security Engineers within GITS are actively involved in the following:
+ Identifies, develops, plans, implements, and supports enterprise security systems using Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to improve and grow our secure solutions to enhance Intel Federal's capabilities with a constant focus on security.
+ Creates solutions in partnership with enterprise architecture to design security measures (from infrastructure to software) that safeguard sensitive data, protect confidentiality and availability, and enable compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements for the enterprise and USG regulations and standards.
+ Partners with system engineers, network engineers, database administrators, and information security personnel in support, integration, development, and lifecycle management.

AT&T has an opening for a NOC Analyst to provide remote support the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), in providing Network Operations in a 24x7x365 environment.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**
This role will include, but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
+ Provide alarm monitoring/response, any needed escalation and resolution of incidents and mentoring of junior analysts through incident resolution process.
+ Troubleshoot network systems when necessary and make improvements to the network.
+ Take technical lead of critical network incidents and drive internal and external resources in troubleshooting efforts
+ Manage and administer a range of network operations tools applications to include Juniper firewalls, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco WLAN, Extreme Management Center (XMC) and Extreme NAC.
+ Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting network performance.
+ Experience with operating and maintaining a Software-defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) architecture.
+ Experience working with cloud-based networks.
+ Support all operational security requirements for network devices and network operations tools applications
Support of the following NOC functional areas that include, but are not limited to:
+ Wireless LAN
+ Firewall management
+ Internet Protocol (IP) address management
+ Domain Name Server (DNS) administration Understand dynamic multipoint VPNs
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Establish plans and goals for self that meet the customer current or future project's needs
+ Prepare or participate in preparing NOC performance reports as required
+ Monitor, create, edit, and enforce all standard operating procedures, processes and timelines

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
+ 5 years of experience in IT support or related field, preferability in network engineering or operations
+ 2 years of experience providing network support in one or more of the following areas:
+ Juniper SRX Firewalls configuration, troubleshooting, Policy configuration
+ Wireless Access Point (enterprise level) Management and Administration
+ Cisco ISE 3.0 (or later) configuration of access/authorization policies
+ Cisco CCNA or Cisco CCNP certification, required within 60 days of start - non-waivable
+ At least one of the following networking certifications by day one of hire:
+ Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions v2.0 (300-415)
+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
+ Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700)
+ CompTIA Cloud+ Experience troubleshooting and fixing LAN/WAN network incidents
+ _Availability to work night shift hours (generally 9PM to 7AM) and weekends to support mission requirements_
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process
+ Availability to work first, second, or third shift hours (generally 9PM to 7AM) and weekends to support mission requirements
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Experience using and managing SPLUNK search heads
+ Experience in Windows 2012 or higher and/or Linux server administration
+ Cisco CCNP certification
+ Juniper JNCIA-SEC certification
+ Extreme certifications covering switching or network access control
+ Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI security clearance if required.
