Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as Immigration Case Coordinator at the Firm include but are not limited to:
1. We are looking for an individual with a wide range of immigration of experience to add to our Immigration group.
2. Prepare and file non-immigrant applications/petitions (E, H, L, TN, O) and immigrant petitions (EB 1 to 3) and adjustment of status as well as immigrant visa applications. Qualifications, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Have a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or paralegal certification. Equivalent experience will be -considered;
2. Have a minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience;
3. A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience preparing and filing non-immigrant applications/petitions;
4. A minimum of three to four years of experience in the preparation and oversight of labor certification (PERM) filings with the Department of Labor. We need someone who thoroughly understands PERM work and is extremely diligent about accuracy.
5. Previous experience with INSZoom strongly preferred;
6. Possess the ability to handle high volume case load while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and productivity;
7. Be proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and proficiency with document management systems;
8. Possess outstanding case/project management and organizational skills;
9. Possess excellent writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task and work independently toward team goals;
10. Possess the ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
