Qualifications, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Have a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or paralegal certification. Equivalent experience will be -considered;

2. Have a minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience;

3. A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience preparing and filing non-immigrant applications/petitions;

4. A minimum of three to four years of experience in the preparation and oversight of labor certification (PERM) filings with the Department of Labor. We need someone who thoroughly understands PERM work and is extremely diligent about accuracy.

5. Previous experience with INSZoom strongly preferred;

6. Possess the ability to handle high volume case load while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and productivity;

7. Be proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and proficiency with document management systems;

8. Possess outstanding case/project management and organizational skills;

9. Possess excellent writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task and work independently toward team goals;

10. Possess the ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
    • At least 1 year of immigration legal experience, required
    • At least 1 year of PERM experience, preferred
    Job Duties:
    • Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of employment-based immigration applications and petitions;
    • Handle client communications and work with government officials to move cases forward;
    • Perform legal research as needed.
    Required Skills & Knowledge:
    • Handle complex tasks expertly;
    • Prioritize workload in deeply time-sensitive field of law and meet strict deadlines;
    • Be highly attentive to detail and have the ability to edit carefully;
    • Provide excellent client service;
    • Flexible and adaptable to dynamic setting;
    • Organized; ambitious with strong initiative;
    • Possess a positive attitude and a professional demeanor;
    • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook required; and
    • Excellent written communication skills.
