+ Manejo básico en las máquinas de moldeo por inyección.
+ Manejo básico en medición y destrezas en metrología

- Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated examples of monitoring a process and adjusting as necessary to maintain a specific product quality.
- Willingness to work required hours overtime, weekend work and early morning startups is likely.
- Demonstrated ability to determine root cause and implement actions to correct them.

Key Objectives/ Deliverables:
Commercial Product & Production Support
- Actively participate and represent injection molding in cross-functional joint process team (JPT) meetings
- Manage commercial tooling and related project work at contract manufacturers
- Provide technical injection molding guidance for validation and troubleshooting activities

- Ensure that the work activities are conducted in accordance with applicable medical device regulations.
- Follow good quality system practices and ensure documentation is developed that supports decisions and changes.
- Review and approve validation plans, protocols, and individual mold validation summary reports to support project schedules.

- Create and maintain process documentation, including setup sheets, validation protocols, and work instructions.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in injection molding process development and mold debug.
- Knowledge of thermoplastic materials, mold design, and injection molding equipment.
- Proven experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), SPC, and root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone).
- Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485.
- Experience with automation systems and cleanroom molding operations.
- Experience with statistical tools such as SPC, DOE, and root cause analysis (Minitab or similar software).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- RJG Master Molder certification or Scientific Molding training.
- Proficiency in CAD and mold simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Moldflow) is a plus.
- Knowledge and validated experience developing injection molding process on high-cavitation molds with Hot Runners and Valve Gates.
- Experience with ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of automation, robotics, and mold maintenance practices.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
- High organization interpersonal skills. Working knowledge Microsoft Office product (Teams, Power Point, Excel, Word, OneNote, OneDrive).
- Knowledge of CAD and mold simulation software (e.g., SolidWorks, Moldflow).

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Support mold trials and facilitate the transition of new tooling and models into production.
+ Investigate and resolve issues related to scrap, cycle time, and process variability.
+ Collaborate with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to enhance reliability and efficiency.
+ Participate in capital projects involving molding equipment and automation.
+ Assist with tooling reviews and provide design feedback using CAD and 3D modeling software.
+ Identify and implement process changes to reduce costs and improve part quality.
+ Oversee the start-up and qualification of new tools.
+ Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
