The Universal Production Finance team is looking for a highly motivated, collaborative Senior Financial Analyst to support the Film Production, Development and Music businesses. This role partners with Film Production Finance Execs, Film Music operations, HQ FP&A and Controllership teams to manage essential FP&A deliverables and reporting requirements, with a primary focus on Production and Music.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and analyze cash forecasting models, tracking by-title production spend and receipts across 40+ active and upcoming film projects
  • Develop and retain subject matter expertise in key areas of production finance that impact forecasting, including domestic and international tax incentive programs, production-specific nuances, and contractual factors
  • Identify key drivers impacting financial performance and analyze potential risks & opportunities
  • Prepare presentations for senior management highlighting production cost performance against budgets and in-year cash position by film, as well as CFO Op Reviews and Leadership Business Updates
  • Assist with annual budget deliverables, detailed historical data analysis, industry research, and support for strategic slate assumptions
  • Own recurring reporting duties for production cash
  • Manage core music publishing finance responsibilities and ad hoc analyses
  • Perform cost modeling for music soundtrack and publishing deal scenarios
  • Allocate soundtrack receipts for internal record label
  • Support all Production Finance teams with FP&A submissions and closing duties, including cash and P&L pacing, corporate consolidation, weekly forecast reporting, and variance analyses
  • Work on wide variety of special projects and ad hoc analyses that provide critical insights for senior management
Qualifications

Set and uphold the bar for audio excellence, reviewing deliverables, directing day-to-day activities, and ensuring alignment with the game's vision and evolving player expectations

Create and execute audio plans and proposals for new features or major content, including timelines, resource needs, quality targets, and delivery milestones

Design, record (studio and field), edit, and implement sound effects for characters, environments, and features using industry-standard tools, techniques, and middleware

Drive the creative use of sound and VO to support gameplay clarity, narrative goals, and esports integrity

Manage outsourced audio content partners and remote team members, ensuring timely delivery and integration of high-quality assets

Operate autonomously when needed, proactively solving complex challenges with creative and efficient solutions.

Required Qualifications

5+ years experience developing sound for game, or shipped multiple AAA titles

Expertise in the holistic game audio process (Sound Design, Voice Over, Music Implementation, Technology, Player Experience, etc.)

Expertise in game engine technical implementation and Wwise audio middleware.

Experience with sound design creation tools (DAW, Izotope, Waves, Melda, Native Instruments, etc) and techniques

Experience in setting up sound studios, audio hardware, and software setup

Experience with voice over processing tools and techniques

Develops and reviews timelines and resource projections for audio production with other managers.

Composes, arranges, and produces original music for NSTs products.

Optimizes audio teams workflow in coordination with designers, artists, and software engineers.

Works with other managers at NST to improve game production pipelines.

Recommends hardware and software technology systems for audio production.

Applies professional expertise to review, analyze and test products under development as a contributing member of a production team to ensure delivery of Nintendos high standard of quality and timeliness.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

10-15 years' experience in music and audio production and software development.

Must have sound design experience for 2 or more commercially shipped video game software titles.

In-depth knowledge of principles and practices of music theory and audio production for software development.

Proven proficiency with current commercial audio production tools.

Prior experience with audio production management including managing audio production personnel.

Analytical skills to plan and develop NSTs audio production capabilities.

Ability to formulate strategies and develop policies in terms of audio productions.

Undergraduate degree in music production or audio engineering.

Advanced degree or additional certification in music or audio production a plus

THE JOB

Responsible for assisting the Production Manager with administrative show and event productions. Confidentiality is very critical to this role.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

* Must Ensure positive and creative environment for the Production department and Venue
* Complete and distribute a daily show flash (P&L) of every event
* Have a detailed understanding of deal structure and the settlement process
* Maintain department manuals and training materials for all production positions
* Train /Assist and support production department personnel with job functions as needed
* Responsible for adhering to the budget and tracking the financial aspects of department
* Create and maintain inventory and maintenance log
* Ensure all procedures are cost effective
* Creates daily/weekly show schedule to present weekly at staff meeting Ensuring information is distributed to Operations Managers in a timely basis
* Work with the Production Manager scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelines
* Maintain regular communications with Production Manager and the GM
* Facilitate proper interdepartmental communication and organization
* Help to manage stage, sound, and lighting crews
* Coordinate operational feedback with Talent Buyer
* Advance technical and Hospitality details for shows/events along with the Production Manager
* Oversee maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, video systems advising on repairs when needed
* Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment
* Attends production and operations meeting as outlined by the GM
* Maintain a detailed and thorough filing system of all "past show" files on the shared drive
* Maintain accurate vendor records, following Purchase Ordering Systems

David Michael Productions is seeking a qualified candidate for an Audio Engineer position within our organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience testing, operating and troubleshooting, both analog and digital professional audio equipment such as mixing consoles, powered amplifiers, wireless microphones, wired push to talk microphones, powered speaker,
speaker stands, and cables.
Key Responsibilities
Operates digital audio consoles, microphones, and speakers on shows
Maintains a pleasant and friendly attitude with co-workers and managers to
cultivate an environment of teamwork and camaraderie.
Tests select items in the audio department as the items return from show site (working list):
Wireless Microphones
Shure MX418s
Speaker Stands
Meyer UPMs
Replaces missing or broken inventory parts. Keeps track of replacement part
inventory and reports shortages to department lead
Updates firmware on all digital microphones and mixing consoles
Resolves reports once items are repaired or issues are deemed user error
Reports broken equipment that needs to be sent out for repair to department lead
Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in repair area
Maintains clean and orderly department aisle
Cleans up the work area at the end of each day (workload dependent)
Provides response to inventory questions relating to the audio department
Provides assistance to warehouse team when needed (scanning gear and loading trucks)
