**Job Summary:**
The Lead Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality support to physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) in meeting the operational needs of the practice and the medical needs of the patient. Works collaboratively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to promote positive patient outcomes. The Lead RN assesses and evaluates patient conditions, and then plans, implements, provides, and documents patient care in a manner that follows professional nursing standards and outlined practices.
Additionally, the Lead RN is responsible for being a leader to the team and a subject matter expert in the area they work. The Lead RN supports the Practice Manager/Director with training and onboarding of new employees, daily assignments, process improvement, and department development as needed, along with various other opportunities to champion process improvement and growth in leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

I. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge and skills in the care of patients. Cardiac Cath Lab service requires specialized skills, which includes scrubbing, monitoring and circulating. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients. The Registered Nurse may be asked to float to areas other than his/her assigned service area, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. The Registered Nurse performs all procedures in accordance with all standards and policies of the Cardiac Cath Lab at Rose Medical Center. Perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined. Complete competency as required. Follow lab testing safety guidelines, maintenance and QC completion/documentation, and proficiency testing as assigned. Follow "good lab practice" in testing and initiate corrective action as issues occur with test system or result. Educational records (diploma or transcript) are mandatory for staff performing non-waived testing.
II. Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license. Current BLS and ACLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
B. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who demonstrates the values of our company by caring like family. You will be an amazing addition to our team by contributing your expertise in the circulating or scrub role. You will ensure safe and effective nursing care until your patient is transferred from your care to recovery.
What you will do in this role:
+ Oversee the instrument and equipment set-up for your OR, including utilization of preference cards and ability to anticipate your surgeons needs
+ Coordinate and oversee your room during a case as the circulator
+ You will facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures
+ Utilize appropriate body mechanics in moving your patients to stretchers and OR tables to prevent injury
+ Manage your patients care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia
+ Consistently review your charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure
Qualifications you will need:
+ Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
+ Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure
+ Valid BCLS Certification upon employment ***online certification not acceptable
+ ACLS as required by facility
+ CNOR certification preferred
