**JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE**
Responsible for coordinating the activities related to fleet maintenance.
**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Manage all vendors performing contract work on fleet vehicles and equipment in the Jurisdiction. Includes developing and nurturing relationships and contacts as required to support Entergy's fleet.
+ Lead in the development of an overall repair and maintenance plan for the Jurisdiction that effectively manages in-sourcing and outsourcing of work and related costs. Assist in the scheduling of work for internal and external repairs and maintenance.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of Preventive Maintenance Programs for all light and medium duty vehicles and equipment. Develop, implement and maintain a process to ensure complete recovery of parts and repair warranty claims associated with vehicles and equipment.
+ Assist in the delivery of new vehicles and equipment to customers. Manage Fleets role in the disposal of surplus fleet vehicles and equipment. Manage the light duty vehicle maintenance and repair program for the Jurisdiction.
+ Provide oversight and training for coding of invoices and timesheets to ensure accuracy of the FLEET system data. Communicate with customers, employees and contractors concerning the status of vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.
+ Assist the Supervisor in training and safety evaluations and oversight and perform duties in his absence. Actively participate in the Entergy Continuous Improvement Program. Ensure that all Fleet Maintenance operations comply with environmental regulations. Play a key role in the change management process associated with Fleet department efficiencies. Actively participate in the Fleet Management department's safety program creating and sustaining a safe and healthy work environment.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
**Minimum education required of the position**
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
**Minimum experience required of the position**
+ 5 years hands on experience in the maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment (including hydraulic units) or Bachelor's degree with 3 years experience in a comparable field with 3 years management experience.
+ 5 years customer service experience.
**Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position**
Demonstrate superior knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic operations, including diesel, gas, engines and hydraulic pump operations. Demonstrated experience working hands on with automotive parts and repair vendors. Demonstrated knowledge of Company's Safety Rules and Procedures and those related to the automotive industry. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated superior planning skills. Demonstrated relationship building and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated project management skills Strong PC skills with Microsoft office and willingness to learn other more advanced software. Leadership experience that will allow the supervision of technicians and contractors. Desired: 4 years of college or equivalent courses; Experience as Operations Coordinator, Lead or Supervisor; Experience in managing a vehicle warranty claims program; ASE Certified; Experience and knowledge of DOT regulations.

**Responsibilities**
+ Maintains a good working relationship between fleet services and end users and managers, offering exceptional customer service
+ Consults with users on selection and dispatch of rental equipment and models appropriate to the work methods required; coordinates rental equipment logistics, reporting, and invoicing; addresses damages and repair charges; coordinates generator services and compliance requirements for generator and rental equipment spend; monitors Tier1 safety supplier requirements

+ This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. + Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
+ Performs repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on entire vehicle fleet.
+ Performs work based on dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules.
+ Reviews work as required to document specific needs (materials, supplies, instructions, etc).
+ Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

The Autonomous Vehicle Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving interpersonal growth, achieving business objectives, and leading high-performing teams. This position needs a leader who can promote client fulfillment, excellence, and collaboration across teams to advance the company's goals.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead and encourage the different teams to achieve business objectives and accelerate organizational growth.
+ Develop and implement initiatives and partnerships that align with business goals.
+ Supervise the implementation of efficient business practices to ensure excellence and continuous improvement at all levels.
+ Develop management protocols and accountability systems to ensure timely execution of operational strategies.
+ Act as the primary liaison for client relations, ensuring outstanding service and satisfaction across all interactions.
+ Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, distributors, and vendors, targeting a high client happiness.
+ Proactively deliver on client expectations by aligning internal teams' performance and efficiency with client goals.
+ Facilitate collaboration among department heads, partners, and delivery teams to develop a unified approach toward achieving corporate objectives. **Desired Skills & Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience will also be considered.
+ MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred
+ 3+ Years of supervisory experience.
+ Previous Autonomous Vehicle experience is preferred.
+ Availability to work in different shifts (24 hours).
+ Able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
+ Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
**Salary and Other Compensation:**
Applications will be accepted until **October 31st, 2025** .
The yearly rate for this position is between **$68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year** , depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
