Essential Functions:
+ Provide performance analysis and characterization of storage systems, features, and components under development

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 108,800 - 162,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. As an Business Analyst- Portfolio Performance Analysis Group in Wealth Management Operations, you will be responsible for conducting Portfolio & Performance Analysis in Wealth Management run analysis and activities which include, performance reporting, rate-of-return calculations, return attribution, risk analytics, competitive analysis and account analysis and construction. You will be instrumental in helping external clients understand drivers of performance in their portfolios and internally measure the effectiveness of our Wealth Management products and strategies and there will be high exposure to relationships relevant to First Republic Bank and legacy systems which will integrate into our Strategic Performance tools. You will also directly support the front-office Advisors, addressing ad-hoc client inquiries related to their investment performance by providing detailed account level analysis.

Job responsibilities

  • Own responsibilities for our Wealth Management (WM) Account and continuation of servicing clients in legacy platform, creating best practices, optimizing processes, examining current constructions with rigor, etc.
  • Liaise with key business partners to ensure appropriate account/strategy performance and technology development and collaborate with regional Tech & India PAG team in the production of accurate and timely performance measurement figures for our WM line of business
  • Create opportunities for new high value-added outputs in the portfolio analytics, risk statistics and strategy vs benchmark analytics arenas
  • Respond in a timely fashion to inquiries from front-office financial advisors regarding performance reports, customized calculations and portfolio analytics; Serve as a subject matter expert (Business-As-Usual)
  • Acclimate and participate in PAG's new group-wide strategic performance technology projects; contribute to outline business requirements, running User-Acceptance-Test and Production Role out of new offerings from many of our strategic products and platforms
  • Assist in writing of business requirements, testing and preparing documentation for the various strategic projects that PAG undertakes
  • Contribute on short-term, medium-term and longer-term strategic projects that focus on improving the PAG's service offering and data quality. Included, but not limited to, design, development, and testing of the Connect Wealth platform offering

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 1+ years' of experience in project and performance measurement
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science (or similar discipline) from an accredited, high-quality institution
  • Solid analytical ability to research and analyze complex data sets
  • Strong quantitative skills, comfortable with formulas, performance measurement methodology and risk measures
  • Interact and communicate effectively - written and verbal - throughout all organizational levels and roles

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and composite practices
  • Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement/Chartered Financial Analyst (CIPM/CFA) or progress toward designation
  • Some working knowledge of securities operations, trade processing, mainframe accounting systems and performance system architecture
  • Self-starter who is analytical and creative in their thinking; ability to quickly analyze information and creatively reach solutions and execute their implementation

As a Business Analysis Manager on the Incentive Strategy team, you'll be in a high visibility and high impact role that will partner with and influence key internal stakeholders to develop and coordinate implementation of our banker incentive strategy. The Business Analysis Manager plays a lead role in modeling, forecasting, and developing recommendations across a variety of topics and initiatives - they are key to the success of banker incentive programs as well as broader National Sales initiatives.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Lead and perform detailed analysis, modeling and financial forecasting to create and influence incentive plans for branch bankers. Responsibilities include designing detailed analytics to determine incentive and employee impact when creating new incentive plans, changing plan drivers, adding/removing products, and/or changing branch roles.
+ Leverage analysis to create presentations for executive management that clearly and concisely convey the story
+ Coordinate discussions with the incentive advisory forum to iterate through ideas and come to final recommendations that will be presented to Comp Governance
+ Partner with executive management team to ensure alignment to strategic direction and desired business outcomes
+ Drive change, be a decision maker and participant in decision making process
+ Obtain approval from Compensation Governance
+ Partner with HR Compensation and syndicate changes with Controls, Legal and Compliance

+ Develop and coordinate meetings with management team to review incentive plan results for the current month. Lead the exception review process by facilitating sessions to discuss requested exceptions and recommendations
+ Assess how plan changes are working, identify anomalies and items that require attention. Follow-up on any deep dive discussion items that result from discussion
**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
+ Leadership and relationship-building skills required to work with senior executives, the field salesforce and subject matter experts.
+ Strong quantitative and analytical skills; 5+ years of financial analysis experience
+ Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and executive presentation building skills. The role will use the basics of MS Access
+ Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise, senior management-level presentations
+ Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment while maintaining accuracy and excellence in output
+ Strategic thinking and planning skills coupled with ability to execute projects with diligence and urgency.
