+ This role provides project controls and scheduling leadership for large-scale data center construction projects.
+ The position oversees schedule reviews, milestone tracking, cost impact analysis, and executive reporting, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery across multiple campuses.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead project scheduling oversight for multiple large-scale construction projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, and fit-out).
+ Review and validate Primavera P6 schedules submitted by general contractors.

+ Present findings to executives using clear communication and data-driven storytelling.
+ Navigate ambiguity in fast-paced projects where designs or funding may not be fully finalized.
**Experience:**
+ 5-10 years of experience in project scheduling or project controls within:
+ Data center construction (preferred), or
+ Large-scale industrial construction (oil & gas, pharma, high-tech manufacturing, CAPEX-intensive projects).
+ Proven track record in schedule management, risk analysis, and cost impact assessments.
+ Strong experience in critical path methodology, change management, and integrated project planning.
+ Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
**Skills:**
+ across Product, Engineering, and Customer teams.
+ Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
+ Knowledge of project management tools such as:
+ E-Builder (workflow, change approvals)
+ ACC Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM collaboration, takeoffs)
+ Procore or other construction management tools (nice-to-have)
+ Strong data management, analysis, and reporting abilities, including what-if scenario modeling.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, managing, and updating project schedules to ensure alignment with general contractor (GC) timelines and overall project objectives. This role focuses on supporting MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) scopes of work and requires expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6. The Scheduler partners closely with project management and field teams to provide manpower projections, impact analyses, progress updates, and client-facing schedule reports.
What you'll do:
+ Preconstruction Analysis and Planning
+ Analyze bid day schedules to assess feasibility and identify potential risks.
+ Prepare interview presentation schedules when necessary.
+ Baseline Schedule Development
+ Build detailed CPM logic schedules with input from Project Management and Supervision teams.
+ Establish a baseline schedule using the GC's contract schedule as a foundation.
+ Ensure MEP scopes are accurately integrated and logically tied to the GC schedule.
+ Create detailed activities, define sequencing, and consolidate manhour breakdowns for resource loading.
+ Schedule Updates and Maintenance
+ Perform periodic schedule updates (weekly, monthly, or as needed).
+ Update percent completes, note logic changes with accompanying narratives, and track impacts and opportunities.
+ Provide "look-ahead" schedules for near-term planning.
+ Maintain and communicate updated manpower projections.
+ Progress Tracking and Reporting
+ Generate "Planned vs. Earned" progress reports to track project health.
+ Analyze GC schedule updates to ensure continued alignment with internal schedules.
+ Prepare and deliver narratives and variance reports for client meetings.
+ Support and Coordination
+ Assist Project Managers in performing schedule impact studies (e.g., delay analysis, resequencing).
+ Conduct periodic jobsite visits to validate schedule progress and gather field data when requested.
+ Perform additional assignments to support project goals and client satisfaction.
What you'll need to be successful:
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical scheduling information.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Ability and motivation to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems.

What you bring to the table:
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, or a related field - OR - equivalent technical training combined with related construction scheduling experience.
+ 2+ years of construction experience preferred, ideally with exposure to MEP trades and large commercial projects.
+ Prior experience scheduling MEP scopes in a construction environment is highly desirable.
+ Must obtain OSHA 30-hour certification within six (6) months of hire.
+ Employment is contingent upon meeting all jobsite-specific access requirements, with no outstanding restrictions from General Contractors, Owners, or Customers.

**Primary Purpose**
Provide analytical schedule support for Sr. Project Controls Schedulers, Project Managers, Managers of Projects and Directors. Ensure adherence to standard milestone reporting, policies, programs, processes and scheduling protocols. Responsible to develop status and analyze detailed critical path schedules, workload and resource forecasts through the use of computer applications such as: Primavera P6, Project View (ComEd and PECO), Hyperion System, Asset Suite 8, Microsoft Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Project, etc. Actively works to support the project closeout process and contributes to the development of reports to identify closeout issues. Identify project/program milestones and schedule issues early and contribute to the resolutions to ensure the successful execution of projects and programs. Ensure that project schedules are properly baselined at each phase approval.
**Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.**
**Primary Duties**
+ Build reports, earned value metrics and schedules to assist in Centrally Managed work execution and revise schedules to recover from missed milestones, project changes and emergent events. Develop and report out earned value, CPI, and SPI indicators.
+ Create Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and portfolio views of all projects. Provide resource loading and utilization for integrated resource reports. Develop reports and perform historical trending research. Update schedule status weekly, biweekly or monthly, depending on the project/program.
+ Assist with the development and updates of standard schedule templates of typical projects and programs. Make updates in scheduling tools to adjust work order/material request start and finish dates to support dynamic project needs.
+ Participate in project team meetings including financial forecasting session to ensure schedule and cost alignment.
+ Interface with other departments and within the department and represent Project Management/Controls regarding schedule process and procedural issues. Serves as a change agent and fosters a high performance culture and promotes diversity and inclusion.
+ Ensures that all projects are statused, placed in service, and closed out in appropriate timeframes in all operational systems. Ensure adherence to the scheduling procedure by developing weekly, monthly and long-term detailed critical path schedules.
+ Perform workload, and union impact analysis, and forecast needs for internal and external resources.
+ Provide 24/7 on call scheduling support for emergent projects.
+ Participate in job walk downs in the field.
**Job Scope**
Regular contact with employees in Project Management, Field Organizations, Operations, DSO and TSO. Interfaces as required with category owners, resource management and financial management.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Academic/Formal Training: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Technical Field
+ Job Related/Experience: 2 - 4 years related experience, or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3 - 6 years relevant experience is required.
+ Specialized Skills, Knowledge, License Requirements/Registrations, Etc.:
+ Ability to build a schedule from an estimate, Project Diagram or verbal Scope of Work.
