is seeking an outstanding mid-to-senior level associate to join our highly regarded Consumer Products practice in our San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Los Angeles offices. Ideal candidates should have four to eight years of litigation experience, preferably from a large law firm. This position will principally represent consumer product manufacturers in responding to private plaintiff demand letters and government inquiries and in litigating consumer class actions alleging false advertising, consumer deception, and regulatory non-compliance. This position will afford the associate the opportunity to work directly with clients and opposing counsel, to gain experience working with leaders in the field, and to join a growing, global team of subject-matter specialists.

Although not required, preferred candidates will have experience with a wide range of industries, including foods, supplements, cleaning products, technology services, OTC drugs, and personal care/cosmetics. All candidates should be comfortable interacting directly with clients. Experience with issues involving FTC, NAD, FDCA, CPSC, slack fill, greenwashing, etc., is a significant plus, but not a requirement.

Strong research and writing skills, excellent academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence are required. Further, candidates should be experienced in working efficiently with both litigation associates and subject matter specialists. Must be admitted to the California bar or eligible to waive in.

+ Verify the accuracy of memorial orders against the finalized memorial design before it is submitted for manufacturing.
+ Design basic memorial products according to the customer's requests.
+ Answer staff questions and solve problems as needed.
+ Meet with families to explain and provide step by step assistance in completing the ordered MEMs product package for complete customer satisfaction.
+ Review MEMs documentation to ensure it is complete and accurate.
+ Design MEMs products according to the customer order.
+ Answer staff questions and solve problems as needed.
+ Ensure that the MEMs product is set up correctly for print, to avoid errors and rework.
+ Review posted charges against the product order to ensure accurate figures.
+ Review submitted photos, documentation and other items for complete customer satisfaction.
+ Provide feedback to the Arrangers on special requests, and approve photographs for product use.
+ Follow up on pending orders, and inform management of pending orders.
+ Must be able to multi-task, set priorities, and organize work.
+ Think critically about work processes, troubleshoot situations, and take remedial action.
+ Adhere to Company policies, procedures, rules, and controls.
+ Adhere to safety rules and regulations, and report unsafe practices to management.
+ Act on customer service issue to provide satisfactory resolution.
+ Understand and achieve annual SMART goals.
+ Participate in cross training and skill development opportunities to improve competency and customer service.
+ Report to work on time and maintain standard attendance.
**Experience and Education:**
+ One to two years' experience as support staff in a customer service environment
+ Minimum of an A.A. degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent
**Special Skills:**
+ Must know how to operate:
+ Photoshop
+ PageMaker/In Design
+ Illustrator
+ Adobe Acrobat
+ MS Office software including web based navigation

+ Bilingual a plus

+ Review design documentation to insure it is complete and accurate.
