**What's the role**
The Shell Carson Distribution Facility and the Shell Mormon Island Marine Terminal manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of refined products-including gasoline, distillates, ethanol, and chemicals-for Shell customers and third parties. Products are received via vessels, pipelines, railcars, and trucks, and distributed through vessels, pipelines, and truck racks. Product Handlers are responsible for safely executing all operational activities related to these processes.
**What you'll be doing**
+ Issue instructions for all receipts and deliveries of all products via all methods into and out of the terminal, pipeline, rail, marine, tank-to-tank transfers at Carson Terminal and Mormon Island Terminal for all products
+ Collaborate closely with Traders, Schedulers, Blenders, third-party terminals and pipelines, as well as customers to gather and review all movement and delivery nominations. These are used to generate daily written terminal orders, which are then forwarded to the Houston Control Center, Carson Operations, and Mormon Island Operations for execution
+ Primary communications focal point to all terminal stakeholders, internal and external: Port Agents, Gaugers, Accounting Group, Asset Integrity Group, Tank Maintenance Group, Engineers, Electricians, Projects, and Terminal Management
+ Facilitate terminal, manifold, pumps, and lines downtime for planned and unplanned maintenance
+ Send notifications to customers, internal and external. Coordinate pipeline pig runs to maintain DOT requirements and asset integrity
+ Communicate live tank status, inventory, and available ullage for storage, blending, and supply purposes to Traders, Blenders, and Schedulers. **What we offer**
The base salary range for this position is $94, 000 - $117, 000 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Product Development Manager is responsible for developing new product roads, leading the innovation process, and driving new physical product initiatives through the product development process from ideation to commercialization. The Senior Product Manager works closely with many internal Quality Craft departments, as well as outside resources:


  • Sales to gather market and customer information and to assist with pricing and program development
  • Marketing to assist in collateral and other sales tool development

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

For the assigned products and product category:


  • Follows the established Stage Gate Product Development Progression from concept through commercialization, including: innovation and ideation; evaluation of product submissions from inventors; prioritization of new projects; coordination of packaging, testing, certifications, and merchandising deployment, and working with attorneys regarding patents and infringement
  • Oversees all product testing and testing requirements necessary to ensure the performance and safety of products.
  • Monitors Quality Control and Assurance development, monitoring and coordinating with operations to find corrective actions for identified issues.

  • Owner and driver of market and competitive information. Keeps data and insights in repository for the organization to use in its new product / growth project plans.
  • Reviews new government legislation that will impact product and product development. Maintains a library of certifications required to meet government regulations.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA a plus)
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant product development experience, including experience:


  • Successfully producing a metal/steel product from ideation to launch
  • Presenting and selling ideas to the sales team
  • Being involved in trade shows and on sales calls
  • Working with and evaluating international factories (exp with factories in Asia required)


  • Capability to travel approximately 25% of the time, including some international travel to Asia (potentially 1x/quarter).

As the Sr. Product Manager, Fleet Tech & Products, you will play an integral role within the Fleet Safety Products team by owning the vehicle telematics roadmap and vendor relationships. This role will bring to life new innovations for Amazon's last mile delivery fleet improving driver and vehicle safety.
We seek a leader who can manage a critical safety tech program with multiple stakeholders including Last Mile Delivery, Global Fleet & Products, Amazon Delivery Service Partner Program and Tech Teams, Connected Vehicle Tech teams, Operations, Finance and Legal.

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Product Manager who will be part of a group that's defining and building fleet connected vehicle and safety technology capabilities supporting Amazon's current and future initiatives around fleet technology.
At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Delivery Service Partners (DSP). A DSP will hire and develop a team of high-performing drivers. The Last Mile team is hiring a Senior Product Manager to deploy strategic initiatives that integrate driver and vehicle safety reaching across all functions of this fast paced and growing organization.
Must be able to travel to occasional team offsites and to visit delivery stations as needed. ~10-15% per quarter
Key job responsibilities
- Deploy fleet technologies across the North America fleet
- Define, measure, and enforce critical program elements (e.g., KPIs, incident management, SLA enforcement, etc)
- Develop and implement a fleet tech roadmap and global expansion plan
- Own vendor relationship(s) with fleet technology partners
- Manage internal and external business reviews
- Establish program goals and track performance
- Solve complex, technical problems with simple, innovative, and practical solutions
- Communicate across teams and change management to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to ensure the overall success of the program
- Monitor key quality metrics, define and implement initiatives to drive product and process improvements
- Work within time constraints and deliver results to meet critical business needs
- Define, collect, and track metrics to drive continuous product improvements across connected vehicle and safety technology.
- Collecting feedback from product users to build next generation safety tools
A day in the life
As the Sr. Product Manager, Fleet Tech & Products, you will play an integral role within the Fleet Safety Products team by owning the vehicle telematics roadmap and vendor relationships. This role will bring to life new innovations for Amazon's last mile delivery fleet improving driver and vehicle safety.
We seek a leader who can manage a critical safety tech program with multiple stakeholders including Last Mile Delivery, Global Fleet & Products, Amazon Delivery Service Partner Program and Tech Teams, Connected Vehicle Tech teams, Operations, Finance and Legal.
You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work across countries and markets. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships, build and execute on a product roadmap, and manage a critical vendor relationship to support Amazon's vehicle needs. You will be expected to engage with senior leaders, both externally and internally.
Amazon's Global Fleet and Products team is responsible for managing and growing the network of professional contract organizations that power Amazon's in-house last mile delivery service. Our partners work out of delivery stations across North America and are assigned delivery routes and packages 7 days a week that are delivered by their vans and drivers. While we continue to ensure that the appropriate vehicles are available for today's customer deliveries, we are also in the midst of a historic transition of one of the world's largest fleets into a highly electrified fleet. The team's mission is to provide the vehicles and services that enable Amazon to delight customers within our last mile operations.
About the team
The Last Mile Fleet Technology & Products & Analytics (FTP) team is responsible for a suite of products transforming last mile delivery safety and operational efficiency. Our mission is to leverage advanced technologies and analytics tools to build the world's safest and most efficient fleet.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market.   • Drill, tap sheet metal panels to specific layouts.
  • Mount all electrical components and mounting hardware.
  • Wire control panels utilizing PLC'S and VFD drives according to electrical schematic
  • Perform quality surveys to ensure accuracy of own work and others when required
  • Report any and all issues through automated feedback system.
  • Experience with NEC code, including conductor ampacity sizing (T310.16) De-rating adjustment factors (300.15) conductor classes (low voltage circuits, signaling and power-limited circuits), wiring methods, overcurrent protection, raceways, grounding and bonding.
  • Motor control experience.
  • Knowledge of Industrial OSHA regulations with a strong emphasis on working safely.
