Principal Accountabilities

• Perform physical activities in a food processing environment, which may require bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching, and lifting objects over 50 pounds. You will also stand or walk for extended periods and occasionally use stairs or ladders.
• Work in conditions that could expose you to heat, cold, dust, and wet or humid situations with slippery surfaces. Personal protective equipment is necessary throughout the facility.
• Execute automation solutions for plant process control, including designing and configuring control systems, while overseeing electrical and instrumentation functions.
• Design and implement control strategies that follow industry standards and utilize approved components.
• Collaborate with the fix/support team to identify improvement areas and provide training for completed projects.

Required Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need of Visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledgeable in PLC/HMI/Controls programming languages.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical or instrumentation systems.
• Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Capability to pass an Electrical Aptitude Test.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Scaffold E&D Foreman 1.

Design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required to maintain work flow. Perform all necessary documentations i.e. delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA's and scaffold inspection checklists, etc. Foreman 1 must act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development. Foreman 1 is required to work with tools from to time.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience
• Some trade school preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
• Bilingual a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Must be able to safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to (3) Lead Carpenters, who each run a small crew, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of the E&D Foreman 2 or E&D Supervisor
• Must have good knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding
• Must have a good knowledge and understanding of the various types of scaffolding material being used so that the intended loads of the scaffolding are not exceeded
