A highly specialized ambulatory surgery center located in Mount Laurel, NJ is currently in need of a Surg Tech to join their team.
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 7am - 3:30pm.
- Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.
- Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.
- Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques.
- Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- BLS preferred (American Heart Association).
- 2 year of experience as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required.
