Job Description
The Patient Services Strategy Franchise Director, Immunology- Rheumatology plays a key role in the development of AbbVie Patient Services patient support strategies across the Immunology-Rheumatology portfolio for current and future pipeline products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys identifying potential opportunities to create exceptional patient treatment plan experiences. This person will be responsible for directing the strategy for above-brand, franchise programs, partnering with leaders within the Patient Services organization and cross-functional leaders supporting the business unit/therapeutic area portfolio(s). Additionally, this position will work closely with the Patient Services and Business Unit/Therapeutic Area leadership teams in supporting the annual financial and long-range planning process for franchise patient support programs.
Responsibilities:
+ Owns all aspects of the development and execution of patient support programs and required resources for the same for the Immunology-Rheumatology franchise; defines strategy, care model performance and associated KPIs
+ Leads integrated Patient Services team in the development of US Patient Services Solution Strategies for Immunology-Rheumatology brands and serves as the team leader for integrated Patient Services care model team meetings to deep dive program effectiveness to identify ways to improve the patient experience and achieve better outcomes
+ Drives patient support strategy, overseeing AbbVie investment and allocation to create effective patient access to Immunology-Rheumatology therapies and enable adherence to therapeutic solutions
+ Responsible for supporting brand strategic imperatives through designing and optimizing fit-for-purpose patient support program ecosystems
+ Establish commercial priorities with Integrated Brand Team (IBT) and liaise with executive management and internal business partners to communicate the business impact of patient support programs
+ Direct interface between the other Patient Services teams and brand partners ensuring programs meet patient/provider needs
+ Promotes accountability for performance across functions, including providing periodic updates to senior leadership on program performance
+ Tracks brand needs, economics, strategies, timelines, and priorities while staying abreast of franchise and patient trends

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred
- 12+ years of experience in healthcare
- 12+ years of experience working at a pharmaceutical company in roles involving strategy and execution
- Strong enterprise thinking, strategic planning, and financial acumen, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to connect broader organizational goals to franchise-specific strategies
- Extensive cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management experience
- Depth in portfolio strategy, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and guide decision-making at scale
- Operational track record as a brand/portfolio leader with sophisticated understanding of business strategy, cross-functional stakeholder leadership and project management with a track record of commercial success.

Manager, Data/Business Analyst, AbbVie Complete Access

Purpose:

The Manager, Data/Business Analyst, Data and Analytics, is responsible for being a hands-on data and business analyst, working with and eventually managing the data analyst within the AbbVie Complete Access function. This role is tasked with enhancing the team's capabilities in data storytelling, business alignment, and insights delivery. Additionally, the role ensures that business operations are synchronized with data-driven processes and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Manages a team of Data Analysts, including selecting and hiring, guiding performance expectations, and developing staff by coaching and elevating the team to enhance analytical skills that drive business goals

Collaborates cross-functionally with business partners and internal teams to drive meaningful, data-driven business outcomes and insights.

Drives the overall development and implementation of the organization using advanced data analytics techniques to set PM goals and optimize data-driven projects, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting of activities and outcomes.

Leads projects centered around complex data models, ensuring comprehensive reporting of activities and outcomes using predictive analytics by translating complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

Directs data-related investigations by employing analytical frameworks to validate data by designing and building dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support strategy and operations.

Provides oversight for accuracy and quality assurance, leveraging data mining techniques to identify improvements and address emerging data trends.

Oversees the management of reporting systems and performance metrics, utilizing sophisticated analytics tools to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and extract actionable insights to drive operational improvements.

Develops and supports other functional analytics-driven initiatives, programs, and systems that enhance operational efficiency and data utilization.

Acts as a mentor and quality reviewer for Data Analysts, responsible for selecting and hiring, guiding them with performance expectations, and developing staff by coaching and elevating the team to enhance analytical skills that drive business goals

Qualifications

Bachelors and or Masters degree in business, physical or life science, pharmacy, nursing, engineering or related field if combined with relevant work experience

8+ years experience in data and analytics, service center or technical field in a regulated industry or relevant experience

2+ years of managerial and/or project management experience in a quality assurance, or similar organization highly desired

Experience driving key process improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization

Six Sigma / continuous improvement methodology, certification, or experience is preferred

Regulatory, compliance, and/or information security experience is desired .
