Summary
The Global HRIS Business Analyst will focus on driving a new Global Applicant Tracking System, for a leading global law firm. The law firm currently uses PeopleSoft for its professional staff (all the functions that support the attorneys) ATS and then a separate ATS for the legal staff.
The contract is slated in 3 phases:
- Gathering requirements around existing ATS set up, across the 2 separate ATS's, and aligning business stakeholder's expectations on a single ATS solution
- Create an RFP for new ATS vendors, Workday and Oracle HCM of note, and lead the RFP process to ensure vendor selection aligns with business stakeholder expectations based on requirements gathered in phase 1
- Oversee the implementation of the new ATS, to ensure the ATS is aligned with business requirements
You will interface with key business stakeholders, with project sponsors being the CHRO and CFO, in addition to interfacing with vendors and internal IT to ensure an optimal ATS solution is seamlessly implemented.
What you'll be doing
- Capture requirements from key business contacts and ensure documented requirements satisfy business needs (aligning use cases and stories/features to business processes) while addressing all downstream impacts.
- Research, understand, and document business processes.
- Form and maintain business requirements and functional specification documentation.
- Acts as relationship manager in the process of seeking out, identifying, and resolving business needs and/or business problems through process and/or technical recommendations and/or technical solutions across practice groups, units as assigned.
- Evaluate how new requirements fit into an existing product and ensure consistency throughout the product
- Translate requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance and user acceptance testing. Additionally, perform QA reviews prior to client delivery.
- Be a part of the change management process and effectively communicate required changes to development teams.
- Deliver project requirements and service levels in a deadline driven environment.
- Demonstrate analytical and organizational skills by analyzing and documenting complex information structures involving multiple layers of data and workflows.
- Work independently and self-manage tasks and time to balance and adapt to changing priorities.
- Adapt communication language and style to varied audiences making use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and other Firm tools.
- Adhere to Firm and department policies, procedures, approved artifacts, methodologies, and delivery approaches to ensure that project efforts are focused on the proper solution and level of functionality needed to meet the objectives of Firmwide, practice group, and functional department customers, without supervision.
- Evaluate test results, effectively identify and track issues using Firm-approved tools and processes working with respective team to escalate for resolution.
- Escalate issues to management, as appropriate, when client expectations and functionality do not match and cannot be reconciled without additional time, cost or resources.
Skills we're seeking
- 5+ years of experience with HRIS Analysis, and a focus on Business Analysis and/or Product Management as it relates to HRIS or ATS systems
- Must have strong experience working with HRIS systems
- Must have experience working with ATS modules specifically, more experience here the better
- Must have experience gathering requirements from key stakeholders as it relates to HRIS (ideally ATS) system functionality
Nice to haves (from most important to least important)
- Experience working on Global HRIS/ATS projects - of note, London and Saudi Arabia are important locations, but the solution will be implemented across the U.S., Europe and APAC
- Experience working in the legal industry, ideally with HRIS systems for law firms

Compensation & Benefits

Total cash compensation range of this position is $69,500 to $4,500 including a base salary range of 57,500 to 82,500 and first-year training incentive of 12,000. **General Summary:**
Applies exceptional hand-soldering skills on thru-hole and surface mount boards. Is responsible for hand fitting SMD and through-hole components into PCB/PWA's as well as undertaking complex rework and assembly on PWA/PCB's. Performs repair, rework and modifications on thru-hole and surface-mount modules. Assembles printed circuit boards, thru-hole and surface-mount, utilizes various manufacturing tools and equipment including microscope.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Assembles and wires basic and complex electronic boards, thru-hole and surface-mount, and equipment following assembly documentation.
+ Performs repairs to printed circuit boards, reworks defective manufacturing assemblies and refurbishes used assemblies.
+ Responsible for modifying printed circuit boards per engineering change notices.
+ Performs complex electro-mechanical assembly involving wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
+ Works to specified tolerances from prints, wire lists, parts lists, engineering schematics/instructions and engineering change orders.
+ Performs complex rework on PWA/PCBs for both through-hole and SMD components.
+ Manually installs components that cannot be placed by P&P machine.
+ Ensures that final assemblies conform to engineering specifications and quality standards, and that assembly methods and sequence of operations follow approved manufacturing processes and assembly protocols.
+ Prepares and maintains assembly documentation such as product serialization logs, traceability records and performance metrics for review by the quality control/inspection team.
+ Collaborates with Quality Assurance in the labeling of all products with required serialization and traceability markings and other forms of product identification.
+ Performs visual quality inspection of PCB assembly.
+ Identifies issues and opportunity for improvement.
**Job Specifications:**
+ Must have a minimum of 5 years electronic assembly experience.
+ Must be able to read blueprints and schematics, identify components and color codes.

**Compensation:**
For individuals hired to work in California, Astronics Test Systems (ATS) is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Lead the team, own the annual reporting responsibilities for the team and mentor their direct reports who in turn develop the technicians within the team.
Work with the site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance program to provide a safe working environment for all staff. Own the legal responsibilities as the site engineering lead within this framework.
Work with the recruitment team to ensure allocated headcount is filled with high quality experienced staff. This may include support to Apprentice and Graduate programmes.
Implement standards validated by the EU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to create or update standards as required in order to provide high levels of safety and equipment availability to our internal customers. A key focus is on preventative maintenance programmes.
Maintain equipment failure contingency plans, drive rehearsals with affected parties and be prepared to work in a flexible manner to ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified as quickly as possible.
Maintain a long term focus by working with Site Management, Finance, the EU Engineering team and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades or new equipment roll outs.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of Engineering team leadership experience.
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited university or 2+ years experience in an Amazon engineering team.
Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Excellent communications skills (written & verbal) in English and the local language.
Experience of automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems.
Project management experience.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Chartered Engineer or working towards it.
Full working knowledge of all specialized engineering and facilities equipment within the FC as well as maintenance and safety procedures
Experience working with PLC based control systems.
