The Banquet & Event Bartender at Cascade Hotel will be responsible for providing efficient and exceptional beverage service during private events, such as weddings, corporate gatherings, and other special events. Key Responsibilities

Bartending Service:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Cascade Hotel's standard procedures and guest preferences.
• Ensure all drinks are prepared accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
• Serve beverages in a professional manner, ensuring that all guests receive prompt and friendly service.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene if necessary to ensure responsible drinking.

• Set up the bar area before each event, ensuring all necessary supplies (liquor, mixers, glassware, garnishes, etc.) are stocked and organized for efficient service.
• Break down the bar area after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.
• Assist with organizing the event space as needed and communicate effectively with the Banquet Manager and Beverage Supervisor to ensure smooth transitions before, during, and after events.

• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a positive experience throughout the event.
• Engage with guests and maintain an attentive presence, ensuring they have everything they need for an enjoyable experience.

• Maintain inventory levels for all beverage supplies during events and inform the Banquet Manager or Beverage Supervisor if restocking is necessary.
• Handle cash and process payment transactions accurately, following the hotel's procedures for financial transactions.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, glassware, and utensils regularly to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

• Adhere to all state and local alcohol service laws and hotel policies regarding alcohol service.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age of guests when necessary.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by following safety guidelines and practices, including managing spills and breakages immediately.

• Work effectively with the Event team, servers, kitchen staff, and other hotel personnel to ensure seamless service and event execution.

At ama, the bar is the heartbeat of the entire concept. Serving as the central element of both the restaurant and lounge, the bar defines the energy, flavor, and hospitality of the space. The Bartender is not simply a cocktail maker, but a master of their craft, host of the lounge, and curator of the guest experience. • Lead the creation and delivery of signature cocktails and seasonal menus that showcase Italian and Japanese ingredients, spirits, and techniques.

• Demonstrate mastery of Japanese whiskies, Italian amaros, sake, and shochu.

• Execute cocktails with consistency, flair, and precision, whether serving at the bar, in the lounge, or tableside.

• Engage with guests through storytelling, education, and entertainment, creating memorable moments that go beyond the drink itself.

DAILY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In depth knowledge of wines, classical cocktails, mixology, and industry trends.
