Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior E-commerce Manager to lead their online presence and drive sales growth through E-commerce & Social Media channels in Raleigh, North Carolina, US . This critical role will oversee the strategy, development, and execution of all e-commerce operations, digital marketing, and social media engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of online retail, customer behavior, digital marketing analytics, and platform management. You will be responsible for optimizing the customer journey, maximizing conversion rates, and building a strong brand presence across digital platforms.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing the overall e-commerce strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Managing and optimizing the company's e-commerce website, ensuring a seamless user experience and high conversion rates.
  • Overseeing all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and paid social campaigns.
  • Developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive traffic to the e-commerce site.
  • Analyzing website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Managing product listings, content, pricing, and promotions on the e-commerce platform.
  • Collaborating with marketing, product, and IT teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of online strategies.
  • Staying current with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices, and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Managing the e-commerce budget and optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
  • Leading and mentoring the e-commerce and social media team.
  • Ensuring data privacy and security compliance for all online operations.
The qualified candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus. A minimum of 7 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a strong focus on digital marketing and social media strategy, is required. Proven experience in managing high-volume e-commerce platforms and driving significant online sales growth is essential. Expertise in SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is mandatory. Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is crucial. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills are necessary. Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce is highly desirable.
