**International 1st Shift:** **8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Mon-Fri)**
**SUMMARY**
This position is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of documents required for exporting Bard shipments.
This position works with customs brokers, freight forwarders, distribution personnel, materials, supply chain management, customer service personnel, and global freight personnel to ship and track Bard export shipments.
**The following duties and responsibilities are performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive:**
+ Prepare commercial invoices and shipper's letter of instructions for all export shipments (to include IFE processes).
+ Arrange for pick-ups with assigned freight forwarders.
+ Coordinate with customs, brokers, and FDA for the traceability of import and export shipments.
+ Provide freight quotes for customers (parcel and non-parcel shipments).
+ Process FedEx, DHL, UPS, and Express Mail shipments and if appropriate, requests FedEx SEDs.
+ Provide detailed monthly report of activity with International carriers and customers.
+ Provide and update reports as required.
+ Data entry activities.
+ Interact via phone and email with Customer Service, Distribution, Supply Chain, Global Freight, and other company personnel as required.
+ Operate within the JDE system, MFG-Pro system and High Jump WMS system.
+ Print, Pick, and Bill MFG-Pro orders.
+ Pick and pack High Jump orders.
+ Batch and wave work to the floor for processing using wave planning software.
+ Handle order picking process within High Jump.
+ Accurate and resubmit failed orders in JDE.
+ Enter new items into JDE and set up pick locations in High Jump.
+ Cross training in other clerical and operational duties in International department will be required.
+ Must enforce to all established policies, work instructions, and SOPs.
+ Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
+ Must be safety minded and work diligently to maintain safe working conditions by adhering to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.
+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule and daily overtime as required.
+ Regular and reliable attendance at work.

**Physical Demands:**
+ While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, sitting, talking, hearing, reaching, and using hands to pick, inch, type, grasp, and twist.

**Working Conditions:**
+ The job is located on the warehouse floor and is regularly subject to extreme weather conditions.
+ It is hot in the summer (no AC) and cold in the winter (very limited heating), occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, moderate noise, work in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles.

+ Preparing international components of the corporate quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740
+ Supporting transfer pricing analysis and documentation
+ Researching international tax issues
+ Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of international tax structuring and planning projects and/or acquisitions, working with accounting, legal, treasury, and other internal and external groups
+ Managing the information gathering and preparation of certain international income tax returns of foreign subsidiaries prepared by external tax consultants

What You'll Do
As a Tax Senior Consultant, you will work within an engagement team and draw on experience in accounting and taxation to provide tax consulting and compliance services to various client types on the tax implications of their inbound and outbound structures and investments. You will identify basic, and some complex, tax issues and provide tax analysis and recommendations for these entities and their affiliates. Additional responsibilities will include:
+ Preparing and reviewing work papers, allocations, and tax returns for multinational corporations.
+ Researching and preparing materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations, such as structure reports, transaction step plans and memoranda.
+ Assisting with developing complex tax projection calculations and models to analyze tax structuring alternatives and planning opportunities.
+ Utilizing proprietary technologies to assist clients in streamlining their tax compliance processes and filing obligations.
+ Supervising less experienced tax consultants.

Qualifications
Required:
+ Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week
+ 3+ years' experience providing tax planning and/or compliance services, preferably with a focus on international taxation.
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business-related field
+ Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
+ One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing able to obtain:
+ Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
+ If not CPA eligible:
+ Licensed attorney
+ Enrolled Agent
Preferred:
+ Previous Big 4 experience
+ Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $77,070 to $175,500.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

We are seeking an **International Trade Specialist** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the importation of goods in compliance with international trade regulations. This role ensures timely and cost-effective movement of products across borders while maintaining adherence to customs laws, trade agreements, and company policies. The specialist serves as a key liaison between internal departments, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
This position reports to the **Trade Compliance Manager** and is based out of **Rantoul, IL** or **Irvine, CA** .
**As the International Trade Specialist, you will have an opportunity to:**
+ Manage import compliance programs, including tariff classification (with emphasis on apparel), valuation, and country of origin determinations.
+ Demonstrate knowledge of Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs), including regulatory compliance and operational processes.
+ Ensure accurate and timely submission of customs declarations and related documentation.
+ Monitor changes in import regulations and recommend strategic adjustments to maintain compliance. Conduct internal audits and assessments of import activities to identify and mitigate risks.
+ Collaborate with customs brokers and government agencies to resolve compliance-related issues.
+ Manage the calculations for preferential duty treatment under Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), ensuring strong internal controls (procedures, work instructions, forms, checklists, and tools).
+ Analyze transactions for potential risk and confirm that due diligence requirements are met.
+ Possess knowledge of U.S. Customs programs such as Reconciliation and Duty Drawback.
+ Identify, evaluate, and implement duty mitigation opportunities and programs.
+ Support additional tasks as needed to maintain an effective international trade compliance program.
**You have:**
+ Licensed Customs Broker (LCB)
+ Bachelor's degree in international business, Logistics, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in global trade compliance, with a strong focus on import operations.
+ Export experience is a plus.
+ Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to research transactions and generate reports using ERP systems and the ACE Portal.
+ Familiarity with government systems such as DECCS, and SNAP-R.

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
