Duties and Responsibilities:
  • With remote access to customer systems, Install or troubleshoot the company's proprietary Software, identify the problematic root cause on hardware equipment such as laptops, servers, and IP cameras.
  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable troubleshooting support over the phone and via email.
  • Ensure timely and accurate set up of all systems.
  • Phone Support during regular business hours and on-call availability during off hours.
  • Monitor Chat sessions to assist other team members.
  • Test systems to ensure they are working correctly.
  • May be required to adjust systems, including software or hardware, to make equipment functional depending upon the environment.
  • Follow the department process, procedure, and metrics for a technical support II technician
  • Maintain a log of customers issues, interactions, and troubleshooting steps in the department ticketing system
  • Train customers on use of systems including software, hardware and installation.
  • Multi-task and have excellent time management skills
  • Understand the severity of an issue and escalate issues efficiently and appropriately.

Basic Requirements:

Job Description

Technical Support Engineer position provides technical support and coordinates activities as part of the Carrier On-shore Support offering of our WAVE On Cloud Platform. This high-visibility role works closely with Customers, Schaumburg NOC, and Tier 3 to ensure that all the PTT Issues are resolved and the customer's experience of using PTT service is positive, seamless and satisfying.

Responsibilities:
  • Engineers will be responsible for helping to support 24x7 uptime and availability of production mission critical carrier connected services within the United States. Monitor and respond to system notifications and alerts and support customer issues as they are received.
  • Engineers should be responsible to provide 24/7 on-call, after hours support to satisfy the critical services agreed with the customer. On-call is scheduled in a weekly rotation.
  • Engineers should be available to work at least 1 weekend day.
  • Monitor application performance and working with customer regarding any issues, via phone or email.
  • Conduct system analysis, and configuration management
  • Able to troubleshoot complicated, cross platform issues handling OS, Networking, Database in a cloud-based SaaS environment and handle live production incidents, debug/troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
  • Document your system knowledge as you acquire it over time into knowledge articles within our Service Now System.

Preferred Sills and Qualifications:

Internal Candidates Only - At SafeRide Health, we are redefining access to care for America's most underserved populations. As a Technical Support Analyst, you'll be the first line of support for SafeRide employees across the country, helping them resolve IT issues and stay connected to the systems they need to serve our members. You'll provide excellent help desk support while learning core IT infrastructure processes in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This is an entry-level, onsite role in our San Antonio office with room to grow as part of our expanding IT Infrastructure team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Tier 1 technical support via ticketing system, phone, or in person for issues related to desktop software, hardware, networking, and peripherals
  • Support and maintain user workstations (Windows and Apple), mobile devices, and applications
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up accounts, devices, and access
  • Monitor, log, and track help desk tickets, escalating as needed and setting clear expectations for resolution
  • Contribute to IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting job aids
  • Communicate proactively with teammates and leadership about service interruptions or issues
  • Participate in the after-hours/on-call support rotation as scheduled
  • Uphold a service-oriented approach and foster respectful, collaborative working relationships
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic to intermediate experience with both Apple and Windows operating systems
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Office 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be located in or able to commute to San Antonio, TX
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using a help desk ticketing system
  • Exposure to enterprise IT environments or MSPs
  • Interest in pursuing a career in IT support or infrastructure

We're looking for a Technical Support Manager to join our team.

The Technical Support Manager will manage performance of Level 1 & Level 2 services and support to clients while ensuring service levels are achieved and customer expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Responsible for ensuring staff are meeting/exceeding expectations in regards to performance and defined SLA metrics/benchmarks.

  • Ensure that appropriately skilled and trained resources are working by agreed internal and customer procedures and standards.

  • Train, coach and mentor Service Desk Analysts (Level 1 - 2), including career development. Oversee staff activities. Builds/obtains training material for support staff. Manage the employee work schedule and provide backup support.

  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction by successfully managing all service areas that have impact on Client satisfaction (SLA achievements, migration support, innovation initiatives, continuous service improvement plan).

  • Ensure financial objectives are met. And service profits/losses meet expectations.

  • Manage all service desk resources with responsibility for legal and company internal policies compliance of all employees under manager jurisdiction.

  • Act as the SPOC for the service, liaise with SDM and customer, deal with senior level escalation, and adapt service to changes in demand.

  • Led Tier 1 & Tier 2 service desk teams.

  • Proven people management and leadership skills and at least 12 months of relevant experience.

  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport with client contacts at all levels.

  • P&L experience is a plus.

  • Able to pre-empt problems before they arise, plan effectively for future activities, and manage unplanned events in a controlled manner.

  • Experience in dealing with client contacts at a senior level.

  • Service delivery background in Infrastructure Management preferred.

  • Work on site at the CompuCom Service Desk location daily.

  • Able to travel if required for meetings.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills.

  • Hands-on operational approach: generate confidence with own team by providing direction, ideas, and leadership.

  • Highly developed negotiating, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Resilient, focused, and performance-driven in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.

  • Quality oriented in all aspects of delivery.

  • Customer service focus.

Wage Range :

The annual starting salary for this position is between $41,250 - $60,500 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
