**Job Summary**
The Sr. Marketing Analyst provides advanced analytics products/dashboards and reporting services to stakeholders in the Digital and Marketing teams.
As a member of the Customer Analytics team, you will play a significant role in elevating how our customers experience Baylor Scott and White's digital assets and marketing initiatives. The Sr. Marketing Analyst will work cross-functionally with marketing, data architecture and engineers, and other business stakeholders to design, develop and maintain scalable analytics solutions and deliver insights to drive strategic marketing decisions.
You will have the opportunity to identify and create key performance metrics using internal and external customer data, set targets for tracking and develop PowerBI dashboards; provide advanced analyses that yield valuable and actionable insights to marketing and other business stakeholders. As part of this, you will be responsible for translating key business needs into data requirements, deliver actionable insights and contribute to the development of predictive models and attribution frameworks.
**Essential Functions of the Role**
+ Partner with marketing stakeholders (brand, marketing operations, product marketing, digital, CRM, paid media) to identify KPIs, track customer journeys and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
+ Gather and document data requirements, examine and translate requirements into technical specifications, process and work flows. May serve in a lead consultant role for all customer contact and resource management.
+ Collaborate with customer data platform team to develop and optimize marketing data models, metric fact tables and semantic layers in data platforms (e.g. Snowflake).
+ Examine business requirements and source systems to design and develop solutions using a variety of toolsets. Develop the deliverables requested utilizing the most appropriate analytic tools while incorporating process efficiencies.

+ Document project/work assignments to include all needed technical documentation such as source to target mappings, data sources, definitions, methodologies, contact information, output requirements or other information to ensure continuity of process.
+ Interpret complex data and associated deliverables (reports, dashboards, interactive reporting, charts, graphs and tables) in plain business language for executive and clinical staff. Effectively summarize information and create inherent/digestible information by selecting visualizations that are fit for purpose.
+ Develop statistical, economic and financial research from data to evaluate performance and drive relevant business or clinical initiatives. Examine data for trends, observations, improvements and makes recommendations.
+ Provide training and mentoring to junior colleagues.
**Key Success Factors**
+ Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Clinical or other similar degree or equivalent experience required.
+ Master's degree preferred.
+ Advanced data manipulation, troubleshooting and critical skills.
+ Advanced development skills in the use of enterprise statistical and BI tools, such as PowerBI, Cognos, Tableau, QlickView, Excel PowerPivot or SSRS.
+ Advanced skill in the use of programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R, or STATA.

**Overview:**
We are seeking a strategic, motivated research professional to lead the development and delivery of competitive benchmarking studies and custom primary/secondary market research solutions. This role requires expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights that support strategic decision making across the Retail, Small Business, Commercial, and Wealth sectors.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a consultative mindset, capable of handling complex research projects from inception to delivery and producing compelling insight-driven reports that influence key stakeholders. Strong communication skills, data storytelling ability, and proficiency in web survey software and data visualizations tools are essential for success in this role.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Manage high-impact strategic competitive benchmarking studies, demonstrating curiosity about the data and conducting in-depth analysis to uncover valuable insights that assist clients.
+ Manage and nurture relationships with internal clients across multiple business lines, ensuring research is aligned with business goals and delivers clear, actionable outcomes.
+ Consult with stakeholders to clarify research objectives and translate them into effective research design using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
+ Manage end to end research processes, including questionnaire design, programming, sample development, data collection, analysis, and delivery of final insights.
+ Analyze complex data sets and distill them into clear engaging insights and strategic recommendations.
+ Tell compelling stories through data by creating visually engaging insight-rich reports and presentations that drive decision-making
+ Design and produce data visualizations using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, ensuring reports are both aesthetically professional and easy to interpret.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
+ Complete other related duties as assigned.
**Scope of Responsibilities:**
This position reports to the Head of Market Research. Project scope is typically on the department level. Projects are a mix of strategic and tactical in nature. Working team clients are normally VP level and below. Project owners are normally Admin, Group and Senior VP level and above.
**Supervisory/ Managerial Responsibilities:**
Responsible for supervising vendors and may supervise 1-2 junior staff members.
Independently manages client contact at working team level ( **VP** and below).
Gives vendor and junior staff guidance on determining methods and procedures.
**Education and Experience Required:**
Bachelors' degree and 6 years' of related experience, or in lieu of degree 10 years' related experience.
Highly proficient in Qualtrics or similar web survey software plus data visualization software such as PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of SPSS, SAS or other statistical software and survey development tools.
Employees in this position should be prepared to travel at least once per quarter within the M&T Bank east coast footprint (primarily to Buffalo, NY). Travel may occur more often than this and is based upon the needs of the business and projects assigned. Employees residing outside of the Buffalo market are anticipated to travel more often than those already located here.
**Education and Experience Preferred:**
Strong background in quantitative research (web/phone) and qualitative research (in person/online focus groups, advisory panels, and in-depth interviews), including survey design, data analysis and interpretation, report writing and presentation of key findings.
Working knowledge of a wide range of custom market research methodologies and techniques including customer satisfaction/loyalty research, brand awareness/usage, segmentation, ad/concept testing, conjoint, new product development, etc.
Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate research findings and insights to clients and stakeholders
Excellent organizational, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and perform effectively under pressure.
Master's degree or PhD with a concentration in Statistics, Psychology or Marketing preferred.
Graduate degree.
Prior management experience.
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $85,104.04 - $141,840.07 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.

You will support a cross-functional effort by providing real-time, actionable insights on peer companies' and broader industry-related initiatives related to data centers, networking, silicon and hardware, and AI models.
**Required Skills:**
Infrastructure Market Research Analyst Responsibilities:
1. Produce regular reports on peer infrastructure strategies and investments
2. Conduct primary and secondary research to track and monitor infrastructure industry trends, news, and market events
3. Create and maintain real-time dashboards tracking new data center projects and AI market trends
4. Develop executive briefings on emerging trends in hyperscale data center deployments, hardware, software, and networking
5. Work with a cross-functional team to add insights and context to industry trends
6. Track announcements, expansions, and new hyperscale data center projects by peers and cloud providers
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Shape and Align Digital Strategy**
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to align digital initiatives with business objectives and enterprise priorities.
- Co-develop digital roadmaps, success metrics, and KPIs that guide execution and measure impact.
**Generate Audience and Market Insights**
