Overview of Responsibilities -

Provides quick, courteous, and accurate cashiering service to customers. Adheres to all Casino service and operating standards. Complies with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Essential Job Duties -

Gaming Cashier Duties:

  • Maintains and reconciles a cash drawer, and secures cash, coupons, forms, and other related inventory associated with cashiering and casino sports wagering duties. Acts as a sports wagering teller when assigned to that area of the casino floor.
  • Responsible for issuance of sports wagering tickets, paying guests, assist in guest usage of the kiosks if needed.
  • Exchanges cash or coupons for customers in adherence with established procedures.
  • Cashes checks for customers in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepares, issues, and receives banks from team members of other departments.
  • Assists slot operations in preparing jackpot payouts for customers.
  • Must maintain and secure all cash and cash equivalents in possession, while providing accurate reporting and financial transactions through the POS system.
  • Performs all cashiering duties in assigned areas as requested, this could include special assignments.
  • Evaluates the quality of service provided by cashiering personnel relative to company service and operating standards, and provides immediate positive and constructive feedback to cashiering employees.
  • Handles customer complaints, and solicits the support of a supervisor as needed.
  • When functioning as the Front Window Cashier, Main Bank Cashier or Chip Bank Cashier, and Gaming Cashier, follows the respective duties and responsibilities of the position that he or she is currently fulfilling as delineated, listed and outlined in Internal Control Section 465a.16.
  • Ensures all AML and Title 31 procedures are followed and tracked accurately.
  • To the extent possible, this position will be assigned to work the entire shift in either the sportsbook operation or the cage. The position may be reassigned to work one time during their shift where they must remain for the remainder of their shift.
Sports Wagering Duties:
  • Inputs betting information into the system, prints tickets, accepts money from patrons for bet placement and gives tickets to guest.
  • Accurately maintains a bank and reconciles at the end of their shift for all transactions handled.
  • Verifies Winning tickets with supervisor / manager approval where necessary.
  • Acts as a point of contact for guests who have questions about sports wagering and bet placement.
  • Communicates with management of any issues or concerns they may be presented with.
  • Contacts Management if there are any issues with equipment, wagering tickets, guest issues whenever necessary.
  • Gives exceptional customer service to all guests who are in the facility.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned, including, when necessary the role of Pit Clerk

Qualifications -
  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Knowledge of standard cage and internal control procedures preferred. Must have excellent customer service, math and money handling skills.
  2. Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stand, walk, push, pull, and carry weight for a full 8 hour shift. Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.

BASIC FUNCTION ( the primary purpose of this position):

Assist Director of Gaming Operations with record keeping and analysis of the Slots, Table Games and Sports Book department's daily operations as assigned. The basic function is maintenance of slot department inventory assets including, but not limited to: gaming equipment, repair components, manuals, tools, equipment, fixtures, inventory control records, receipts, warranties, contracts, catalogues, and vendor listings.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee
  • Maintain sufficient inventory to support general operations of the gaming departments as assigned.
  • Advises management of slot inventory levels, make appropriate purchase suggestions, negotiate purchase when necessary, including warranty and service costs.
  • Maintain all training records for Slot Operations personnel.
  • Assure that all gaming records are in compliance with the CGC Internal Controls.
  • Maintain the Auto-Cad (Computer Assisted Drawings) floor layouts.
  • Assist management with variance reports.
  • Maintain gaming department's uniform inventory and order new uniforms as appropriate.
  • Coordinate machine installs, conversions, and removals with manufactures. Work closely with Management on projects.
  • Coordinate all Slot functions with the Slot Department and the Slot Tech Shop.
  • Assist in the training and development of Tribal Member employees following Ko-Kwel Casino Resort's Tribal Member Preference policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS ( objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience):

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • This position requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative support role; previous gaming or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Must have previous computer experience, proficiency with data input, recordkeeping and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to promote team work across various departments.
  • Previous experience with MS Office including above average skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and Access.
  • Proficient in Auto Cad.
  • This position required the ability to work both independently with self-initiative and as part of a team to accomplish department objectives.
  • This position requires a flexible work schedule to include evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate exceptional guest service and demonstrate conduct that is courteous and professional in manner.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free work place policies.

Essential Functions
  • Serves as a Gaming Unit Supervisor.
  • Serves as a working supervisor.
  • Serves as prinicipal investigator when conducting complex background investigations of new casino owners, other applicants with complex ownership structures and/or IGB employment background investigations.
  • Develops and formulates operating policies and procedures to enhance the total program and strengthen authority and controls by making recommendations to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Participates in various trainings, including but not limited to: Firearms, Professional, Fitness.
  • Attends and participates in meetings and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires current certification as a sworn peace officer.
  • Requires four (4) years progressively responsible professional experience as a Gaming Senior Special Agent with the Gaming Board.

    OBJECTIVES

    • Define, develop, and manage product strategies to optimize player engagement, retention, and monetization.

    • Develop comprehensive roadmaps aligned with market trends, player insights, and business objectives.

    • Drive the creation and refinement of compelling game mechanics and balanced in-game economies.

    • Execute monetization strategies that maximize revenue streams, including in-app purchases, advertising, and other monetization channels.

    • Improve overall game performance through data analysis, A/B testing, and continuous iteration.

    COMPETENCIES

    • Strong expertise in F2P mobile games, particularly casual gaming genres.

    • Deep understanding of game design, economy balancing, and monetization practices.

    • Exceptional analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

    • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional teams.

    • Proven leadership and organizational skills for managing product lifecycles from conception through execution.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Required:

      • Minimum of 3 years in product management within the F2P mobile gaming industry.

      • Demonstrable success in game design, economy design, and monetization strategy.

    • Preferred:

      • Bachelor's degree or higher in Game Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

      • Previous direct experience in game economy design and monetization management.

      • Background in designing or managing casual games.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work;

    • Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer.

    The range for this role is $75,000 to $125,000 depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.

    As a Research Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of research projects, training and mentoring junior members of the team, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to study design and proposal creation.     On any given day you might…

    • Lead the development and execution of research projects leveraging our behavioral dataset, PlayDX, and primary research methods
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to streamline processes and deliver high-quality results and recommendations 
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted research advisor 
    • Develop and refine research proposals, including methodology recommendations and project scope
    • Present research findings and strategic insights to clients through the lens of demonstrating the value and implications for their business
    • Collaborate with our data science team to turn complex data sets into meaningful reports, proprietary frameworks, and new industry benchmarks 
    • Work alongside our product team to build systems and outputs that allow us to scale our business quickly 
    • Drive innovation in research methodologies and data collection techniques
    • Contribute to the expert positioning of the company through the development of thought leadership, blogs, and social media posts   

    To qualify, you have.

    • 5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or data analytics 
    • Must be comfortable and experienced in quantitative research methods and data analysis including quotas, click balancing, weighting, cross tabs, and stat testing 
    • Experience with qualitative research methods is strongly preferred but is not required   
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data
    • Comfortable working with numbers, large datasets, and ambiguous information
    • Experience in analytical storytelling, slide creation, and data visualization; experience in building dashboards is a plus
    • Top-notch written and oral communication skills
    • High proficiency in Excel
    • Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with SQL is a plus  
    • Experience with R or Python is a plus
    • Passion for the entertainment and gaming industries with a strong POV 
    • Self-starter with a growth mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
    • Previous experience in gaming research is a strong advantage 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field

    We are a full-service design firm offering interior design, architecture, engineering, and landscape architecture. You will be an integral member of the design team working on all phases and aspects of our varied projects.

    • Participate and contribute in design and project management with design discussions, idea generation, collaboration, and design work in drawing, modeling and 3D image formats
    • Direct non-licensed and other professionals assigned to design, produce and coordinate the design process and technical documents
    • Design and detailing in Autodesk Revit
    • Attend project and client meetings with design professionals for both business development opportunities and projects under contract

    Requirements:
    • Education: Completion of accredited professional degree program with a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in architecture, or equivalent in appropriate education and experience
