A global professional services firm seeks a Human Resources Manager to join their dynamic team. The Human Resources Manager is an integral part of the firm's Human Capital & Talent team. This role will be responsible for supporting the office, the Human Capital & Talent department, and the firm by using their experience and understanding of the legislative, judicial, and competitive market landscape, while developing and implementing the Human Capital & Talent strategy for the relevant office, as well as working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing Human Resources ("HR") advice and guidance to stakeholders on a range of complex HR matters including employee relations and performance management
  • Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on firm policies, procedures, and best practices; ensuring compliance with firm policies, procedures, and laws and regulations as required
  • Ensuring successful implementation of strategic Human Capital & Talent initiatives
  • Overseeing the implementation of Human Capital & Talent operational projects, providing advice and guidance where necessary to ensure projects are delivered successfully and by required deadlines
  • Working closely with Staff Development & Training to identify training opportunities for the office; helping design and conduct training and development programs, and supporting the development, implementation, and assessment of ongoing training programs
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that the firm retains

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply federal, state, and local employment laws or court precedents including but not limited to: OSHA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, ADEA, and FMLA
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of traditional human resources functions
  • Display excellent leadership skills and the demonstrated ability to lead a team (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective management
  • A Bachelor's degree, with a focus in human resources or a related field, preferably
  • A minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible human resources experience
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures

* Works with HR leadership to establish clearly defined processes, policies, and practices. Supports region-specific HR requirements and coordinates with Corporate HR leadership to devise and make recommendations to support growth and maturation of assigned environments.
* Leads or oversees HR projects with national scope, implements HR projects for site location.
* Acts as a strategic business partner for assigned business area(s) and site(s).
* Provides an HR presence for employees and managers regarding HR-related issues, questions, and concerns, while maintaining good working relationships and building credibility with employees.
* Partners with global business partners to ensure adherence to company HC budget and proper allocation of headcount costs.
* Responds to employee relations issues (investigations and corrective actions) such as employee complaints, supervisor/manager concerns regarding practice or policy application, and performance improvement.
* Supports key HR business partnership efforts in performance appraisal process, salary administration process, succession planning, organizational design, and transactional processes such as transfers, increases, promotions, terminations, and administration of various processes due to internal or external policy or regulation requirements as necessary.
* Prepares and delivers internal employee HR communications on HR subjects including employee relations, compensation, benefits, policies, and processes.
* Partners with HR Management with planning and implementation of team goals.
* Gathers and analyzes data with useful HR metrics; prepares reports.
* Is responsible for monitoring industry trends, employment legislation and ensures compliance for the region of operation.
* Maintains confidentiality of all associates, company, and customer information.

They are responsible for HR administrative functions including new hire onboarding, employee lifecycle, employee relations, worker's comp + leaves of absence, benefits administration, and overall compliance and accountability to the company handbook.
