This position is responsible for project management activities that ensure project delivery is safe, efficient, on schedule, within budget, and per project documents, contractual requirements, and relevant policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. The Director of P roject Management monitors project status, mitigates risk, and resolves project issues, consulting with and providing recommendations to senior management for critical issue resolution. This position coordinates project delivery activities with C&D and operating agency personnel and manages staff, contractors, consultants, and agency forces in the safe and efficient execution of capital projects. Responsibilities The Project Management Director is responsible for successfully managing and mentoring staff to deliver complex capital projects. Coordinate project activities through project close-out. Monitor project performance against established baselines and pursue opportunities for improved performance. Identify project issues and risks and ensure timely resolution and mitigation. Recommend solutions to senior management for the resolution of critical issues. Manage project activities to minimize the impact on agency operations and the public. Coordinate activities with the project team, C&D staff, contractors, consultants, MTA operating agency staff, and other stakeholders. Coordinate with MTA operating agency staff to ensure necessary actions, approvals, and resources are in place to support project delivery. Ensure project activities follow established requirements and adhere to all relevant standards, guidelines, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ensure that safety and quality are an integral part of project operations. Manage the preparation and monitor implementation of project plans, quality plans, and work plans. Coordinate with Safety and Quality Management staff. Manage project documentation to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy. Manage and monitor progress against project scope, schedule, and budget. Work collaboratively with Development and Contracts throughout the project life-cycle , including developing project scope, requirements, design criteria, and procurement packages, evaluating bids/proposals, negotiating change orders, and timely completing contractor/consultant evaluation process. Review and approve contract invoices and other project charges based on established procedures. Ensure that expenditures are correct ly charged. Manage comprehensive project document control and retention. Manage the preparation of reports, presentations, research, and studies. Manage the presentation of project reporting and coordination of audit/inquiry responses for MTA and external oversight bodies. Manage staff selection, coaching, training, development, evaluation, and discipline/termination. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field. Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience Must have a minimum of at least five (5) years in the management of construction programs/projects or a supervisory role in a large, multi-faceted organization. Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect desirable. PMP and CCM Certifications are preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Under some supervision, the position is responsible for third-party project management. Specific responsibilities include managing existing contracts, monitoring contract financial expenditures, providing supervisor reports, preparing budgets for proposed projects, overseeing demolitions and construction activities, observing submitted shop drawings, enforcing approved MPT documents, overseeing waterproofing applications, conducting daily safety briefings, completing and submitting daily inspection reports, assisting in developing cost estimates, coordinating between SEPTA and contractors, assisting in project close out, complying with safety and security policies, and performing other duties as required.

Qualifications and experience required include a bachelor's degree and four years of satisfactory experience in project, contract or construction/inspection management. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Strong personal computer skills, proficiency in MS software applications, ability to prepare reports and maintain records, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a valid driver's license are also required. NORAC qualified, QPE and PC qualified preferred or to be completed within 6 months of job award. Proficiency in the use of Project Management software is required.

Factory is seeking seasoned Infrastructure Engineers to architect, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure.

What you will do and achieve:
  • Lead the design and implementation of robust, secure, and highly scalable cloud infrastructure, utilizing tools like Docker and Terraform.
  • Work in close collaboration with product teams and software engineers to deeply understand and efficiently address infrastructure requirements for new features, research initiatives, and evolving customer needs.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, significantly enhancing the software development and deployment processes.
  • Ensure the highest levels of security, scalability, and reliability of our infrastructure through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and rapid incident response.
  • Champion performance improvements and infrastructure automation, leveraging best practices to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Strong background in building and managing scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure, with extensive experience in AWS/Azure/GCP environments
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools, with a solid grasp of Terraform.
  • Proficient in containerization technologies, with a focus on Docker, and an understanding of orchestration systems.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to VPC, EC2, Lambda, Amazon RDS, and S3.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools and practices, ideally with experience in GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • A strong foundation in network security principles, with a proactive approach to implementing security best practices.
  • The team goes into the office 5 days a week in San Francisco (walking distance to Caltrain).

What you'll do:

* Design and implement the Americas region security systems and by evaluating network and security technologies.
* Develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), SD-WAN, virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices.
* Requires in depth knowledge of security technologies including Active Directory, authentication methods (MS Azure, ADFS, SSO, multi-factor, etc.), and authentication protocols.
* Implements new security designs and hardware.
* Increases security posture by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
* Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
* Will work with networking team, Incident Response team, SOC / NOC teams and applications engineers to assist in overall security posture and global excellence of security.

What you have:

* Must have a bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related discipline or an associate degree in a technology or business-related discipline.
* At least 5 years IS security experience. CCNA, Security+, CCIE, or CISSP is preferred.
* At least 5 years security related experience including advanced Next generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, FirePower and Fortinet, IPS, Cloud Security, SASE, Micro Segmentation, virtual environments, familiarity with PKI and multi-factor authentication.
* Strong understanding of networking concepts.
* CCNA, CCIE Security, CISSP security certification is preferred.
* Project management skills are considered a plus.
