  • Policy development and expansion: identify gaps in existing operational policies and lead the creation of new, standardized policies for ancillary and support functions.
  • Assist in the standardization of maintenance planning, tracking, and execution across multiple facilities to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Contribute to the ongoing design and implementation of the training program to enhance employee proficiency and leadership development.
  • Drive adoption of best practices for writing and executing MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
  • Lead the standardization of incident response, recovery, and reporting, driving root cause analysis.
  • Develop and report on key metrics and KPIs to measure program success and influence strategic decisions.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, Critical Infrastructure, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data center engineering, design, or operations, with exposure to multi-site facility management.
  • Proven experience in policy development, process standardization, and operational improvement, including SOPs, MOPs, EOPs.
  • Proven leadership ability, with a record of influencing and educating both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner for cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance relevant to data centers.
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment when managing sensitive matters.
  • Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects under pressure while maintaining focus and urgency.

**Essential Responsible Areas:**

You will be responsible for reducing the LCOE of the three primary technologies deployed in the US (Wind, Solar, Storage) through the delivery of multiple initiatives.
In additional, you will also be responsible for driving digital initiatives including identifying the right technology solutions to support the project management office and the overall Operations Excellence program.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and drive initiatives with the business leaders to reduce the LCOE of the technology type you are focused on
+ Participate with senior business leaders in estimation of value of each initiative. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing models with the business leaders
+ Collaborate with senior business leaders in developing implementation roadmaps for the various initiatives identified; support the leaders in driving the initiatives to the maximum value for each projects
+ Support implementation of best practices across the industry to bring to RWE on the technology type
+ Work with your Operational Excellence colleagues to bring in ideas from other technologies and business units
+ Lead the identification and roll out plan for collaboration tools and softwares/digital solutions that compliment the work of the Operations Excellence group
+ Influence the codification of the approach for future waves of LCOE optimization; Capture an idea log to be used on future projects with impact sizing expectations
**Job Requirements and Experiences:**
+ Master of Science/Engineering or Business Administration preferred
+ Minimum 10 years of highly relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Electric Power/Natural Gas or Chemicals or Metals & Mining and Agriculture industries preferred.
+ Experience in project management of large scale operations transformations across departmental or business borders
+ Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills; Expertise with Microsoft Excel is a must
+ Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
+ Capable to communicate effectively verbally, visually and quantitatively, plus analytical and Consultive skills
+ Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment. You should be someone who frequently takes initiative and is eager to break new ground
+ Expertise in designing & facilitating workshops and training sessions with a range of senior business stakeholders
+ Willingness to travel for certain meetings and workshops across US offices is expected ( avg ~once a month)
+ Languages: Fluency in business English

**Job Description Summary**
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing lean improvement projects that align with strategic business objectives. This role involves promoting the Aero Alliance cultural brand throughout the organization to achieve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Quality, and overall business goals. The candidate will identify opportunities to eliminate waste and non-value-added activities, utilizing best-practice lean tools such as Kanban, Just-In-Time (JIT), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Kitset delivery, and vendor-managed inventory to drive efficiency and cost savings in operations. Additionally, the role includes identifying processes suitable for automation and the reduction of manual effort, collaborating with all business functions to enhance overall performance.
**Job Description**
Essential Responsibilities
- Eliminate waste processes through application of Lean principles, thereby driving strategic turnaround time reduction initiatives.
- Be a champion of EHS guidelines and always keep them in the forefront of any improvement or event.
- Hold project management expertise required to drive plans through to completion.
- Identify, coach & mentor lean methodology to drive improvement objectives.
- Have excellent people leadership & communication skills at all levels.
- Identify & implement KPI's to track project progress.
- Lead Lean activities in a factory setting and facilitate workshops including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Blitz, Obeya, 5S and drive for excellent results.
- Drive critical path decisions, make recommendations and influence program leaders and functional process owners to maximize project impact, drive simplification and standardization efforts for all project initiatives.
- Apply change management principles to deliver project goals, build system and process competency, and integrate multiple improvements at one time.
- Drive defect reduction through 6 Sigma implementation.
- Provide training and governance to key business and end users.
- Identify solutions to provide real-time job costing visibility and process simplification, supported by a business case for change, with implementation reviews, KPI's, and benefits analysis.
- Adopt project management, planning, and operating rhythm deliverables including frequent communication and presentations to functional leadership, project leadership, and business stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have hands-on experience using Lean tools and methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university -OR- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a role that involves Lean methodology.
