**Job Summary:** Southern Industrial Constructors seeks a Combo Welder for a project in Rocky Mount, NC.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage, and welding techniques.
+ Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
+ Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
+ Set up equipment and weld parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
+ Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
+ Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torch, straightening press, and hand tools.
+ Rate information using standards that can be measured or checked.
+ Detect, recognize, and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.
+ Certification at one or more levels is required.
+ Regular attendance is required.
+ Performs other duties as required.

- Ensure that all products meet or exceed USDA, company, and customer specifications.
- Monitor and verify compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as internal food safety and quality procedures.
- Perform daily monitoring and testing of wash water, rinse water, pH, employee hygiene, cooler temperatures, and other critical control points.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of quality control activities.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Turtle Lake, WI
What's the Job?

Set up test equipment according to documented procedures and manage instrument test parameters.

Conduct various tests on parts, including break tests and tensile tests, while exporting data into a database.

Perform dimensional, functional, performance, and visual inspections during the Production Part Approval Process.

Adhere to company procedures, rules, and policies while attending required training sessions.
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area, communicate effectively with personnel across departments, and keep accurate records.
What's Needed?
-
High School Diploma or Equivalent; a 2-year Technical Degree in Quality or a related field is desired.
-
Experience with force gauges, test fixtures, and inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
-
Strong computer skills with experience in MS Office and Google Suite.

Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, and twisting.
