Job Description

Position Overview: Lead a team of supply chain professionals managing a global supply chain to meet strategic and tactical objectives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all aspects of purchasing to support organizational operations efficiently and cost-effectively.
  2. Develop and oversee purchasing policies, procedures, and KPIs to ensure targets are met.
  3. Review and improve purchasing processes and contracts.
  4. Represent the purchasing team in MRB meetings and support material disposition.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree.
  • Enrollment in or completion of supply management training, certifications, or APICS courses.
  • At least 5 years of purchasing experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing or high-tech electronics environments.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects like new product introductions.
  • Knowledge of supply chain activities, project management, LEAN principles, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and in teams.
  • Must be a US citizen or have permanent resident status.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Deep knowledge of LEAN principles.

Role Summary :

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Management,
Subcontract Management Staff team every day will be unique as you tackle shortages and resolve supplier performance issues. In this role, you will make a difference to our bottom line by controlling costs through negotiation and ensuring on-time delivery.
**What You Will Be Doing**
The selected candidate will be a part of the Procurement team for major systems. The candidate will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. The individual will lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and hold procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Experience with supply chain management or buying or procurement
