Our client, a prominent real estate investment firm with a strong presence in the Mountain West region, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their dynamic team in Salt Lake City, Utah, US . This role is instrumental in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting market research, and supporting strategic acquisition and disposition decisions. You will leverage your expertise in financial modeling, due diligence, and market analysis to drive profitable growth and identify high-potential real estate assets across various property types. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, modeling, and valuation of potential real estate investments (e.g., commercial, multi-family, industrial).
  • Performing thorough due diligence, including market analysis, site inspections, property condition assessments, and lease abstracting.
  • Developing detailed pro forma financial statements, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses for investment opportunities.
  • Preparing investment committee memos, presentations, and reports for senior management.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or Master's in Real Estate is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, analysis, finance, or asset management is required. Proven expertise in real estate financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market research is essential. Strong understanding of real estate capital markets, property types, and investment strategies is a must. Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical. Proficiency in ARGUS Enterprise and advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.
