As a **Security Officer - Mall Patrol Specialist** in **Ontario, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. **What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential threats within the premises.
+ Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and information as needed.
+ Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location management to address security-related concerns.
+ Document incidents and maintain accurate records according to site-specific guidelines.
**What We're Looking For:**
+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
