Job Description
Supply Chain Services Site Coordinator plays a central role in coordinating and refining supply chain, vending, and/or VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) operations, typically situated onsite at a customer location. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Services Sr Manager, this position is integral in ensuring streamlined operations, customer satisfaction, and alignment with Vallen's core business goals. The manager collaborates closely with the inside sales and account management team, forging a cohesive unit dedicated to deepening customer relationships and reinforcing Vallen's value proposition.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operational Management: Oversee the Supply Chain Solutions' daily functions, ensuring compliance with service standards, agreements, and cost optimization.
• Team Leadership: Guide and support onsite Supply Chain Solutions associates in their roles, focusing on performance evaluation, training, and fostering team collaboration.
• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with the Supply Chain Services Sr Manager, aligning team activities with organizational goals.
• Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, ensuring consistent satisfaction and exploring collaborative opportunities.
• Asset & Inventory Management: Oversee the management of Vallen's onsite inventory and assets, ensuring optimal utilization, accurate tracking, and minimized wastage.
• KPI Monitoring: Assess and report on key performance indicators, including service level monitoring, fill rate, machine downtime, and other operational metrics. Formulate strategies based on these KPIs to enhance service delivery.
• Order Control Optimization: Work closely with the customer and Vallen Account Representatives/Managers to refine inventory order controls, aiming to optimize stock levels and minimize stock-outs.
• Compliance & Process Refinement: Ensure site adherence to inventory protocols, cycle counts, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Continuous Improvement: Engage in regular reviews to refine processes and drive operational efficiencies.
Job Qualifications:
• Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Mgt, Marketing, Finance, etc.) or equivalent experience, along with 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, distribution, or a related industry. Experience with indirect materials is advantageous.
• Leadership: At least 2 years in a supervisory role, emphasizing team development and cohesion

- Product Supply - Product Supply interns work at field sites as Site Logistics Planners. This position serves as the point person for inventory coordination for all product categories in each Distribution Center.
- Customer Service - Our Customer Service interns take on the real-life role of a Customer Service Coordinator. Most interns are assigned to either a deduction, credit, or order management role. Deduction interns, in partnership with Sales, will effectively be managing the day-to-day of customer deductions. Credit co-ops determine account’s financial strength and credit worthiness by analyzing financial statements. Finally, Order Management interns will be assigned a specific wholesale/ retail account. These interns will process and manage the life of orders on a daily basis.
- Logistics Operations – Interns will gain a specific understanding of the Transportation and Distribution networks within Mondelēz International, including the flow of product movements from origin to destination. Interns will have exposure to the Load Control Center, Private Fleet and the Transportation Expense and Audit Control group.
- Branch Operations - Support day-to-day operations in our Direct Store Delivery branches including order/route management, inventory & warehouse management, linking with internal and external stakeholders to support customers/operations and leading project work to achieve safety, service, and cost goals.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in: Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration.

As the Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics you will plan, direct, and monitor all supply and logistics activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers.
**What You'll Work On**
-Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain.
-Activities may include: materials planning and control, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport and distribution.
-Develop and implement schedules and procedures.
-Allocate resources to meet targets in areas such as transit and delivery times; inventory levels; purchasing, warehousing, and storage costs; and service standards.
-Liaise with functional and operational area managers (e.g., in customer service, sales and production planning) to ensure supply activities are integrated with other parts of the business.
-Select and manage ongoing relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to minimize costs and ensure satisfactory standards of service.

Primary Responsibilities of a Customer Service & Logistics Intern are:
+ **Product Supply** - Product Supply interns work at field sites as Site Logistics Planners. This position serves as the point person for inventory coordination for all product categories in each Distribution Center.
+ **Customer Service** - Our Customer Service interns take on the real-life role of a Customer Service Coordinator. Most interns are assigned to either a deduction, credit, or order management role. Deduction interns, in partnership with Sales, will effectively be managing the day-to-day of customer deductions. Credit co-ops determine account's financial strength and credit worthiness by analyzing financial statements. Finally, Order Management interns will be assigned a specific wholesale/ retail account. These interns will process and manage the life of orders on a daily basis.
+ **Logistics Operations** - Interns will gain a specific understanding of the Transportation and Distribution networks within Mondelēz International, including the flow of product movements from origin to destination. Interns will have exposure to the Load Control Center, Private Fleet and the Transportation Expense and Audit Control group.

**Requirements and Preferred Qualifications**
+ Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in: Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration.
