What You'll Accomplish- Create the skeleton Form 10-Q/10-K and Press Release in Active Disclosure or Workiva

Basic Qualifications- 4+ years of experience with financial reporting and preparation of financial statements
- 4+ years of proficiency in using Excel, Active Disclosure, or Workiva
- 4+ years of experience with accounting systems such as Netsuite
- Knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Experience with XBRL tagging
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $84,800 - $127,200.

- Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and related disclosures) in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Assist in drafting financial statement footnotes, MD&A, and supporting schedules.
- Partner with fund accounting teams to reconcile financial data and ensure accuracy of investment-related reporting.
- Monitor and implement new accounting standards (ASC updates) relevant to fund and investment accounting.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules, responding to requests, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Develop and maintain internal reporting controls to comply with SOX and internal policies.
- Collaborate with FP&A and business units to provide financial data and analysis for reporting requirements.
- Perform technical accounting research on complex transactions and provide recommendations to management.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of reporting systems.
- Ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy of all financial disclosures and related analyses.

Overview
IMC is seeking a talented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. In this role, you will deliver business impact through financial analysis and reporting and you will manage several key finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly cost reporting. You will work closely with senior leaders across the firm to provide financial insights that directly impact business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Generate and deliver monthly financial reporting and dashboards to internal stakeholders
- Analyze and report on various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial performance metrics, including P&L, return metrics, etc., and identify the cause of any unexpected variances
- Review monthly cost reporting with individual trading business units, highlighting changes and providing insights
- Assist with managing the annual budget process, coordinating across several teams and communicating updates to internal stakeholders
- Conduct variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling to support strategic planning
- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively support decision making
- Contribute ongoing improvements to budgeting, financial projections, and operating cash flow forecasting processes
- Gain strong knowledge of internal financial data and act as a subject matter expert to provide additional insights
- Develop and maintain financial models and perform data-driven analysis to support trading, strategic initiatives, and operations
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within trading, investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Proficiency working with data analytics and visualization tools (Qlik Sense preferred) and working knowledge of SQL or similar tools
- Previous experience automating financial reporting processes
- Experience retrieving, consolidating and analyzing data from ERP systems (i.e., Workday)
- Ability to mine large sets of data from multiple data sources to identify trends/variances and to structure sophisticated reports and financial models for decision support
- Experience using a budget and forecasting tool (i.e., Adaptive Planning) to build out budget models
- Professional accounting/finance designation (MBA, CPA, CFA, etc.) is a plus
- Dedication to maintaining strict confidentiality with respect to highly sensitive information
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy
- An entrepreneurial, driven mindset; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
