Summary
Responsible for working within a Corporate Treasury Operations function supporting workflows that include clearing, settlement, and financial reporting of trades across securities, money market and derivative assets. The Business Analysis role’s mandate includes driving change by developing detailed business requirements and liaising between key stakeholders and Engineering (IT) for key initiatives across security, funding and derivative portfolios. The Business Analysis function plays a critical role managing operational risk and data quality governance through control enhancement and developing new solutions across the practice.

Major Duties
- As subject matter expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
- Carries out data quality controls that impact regulatory reporting
- Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, with a focus on portfolio composition, market data and valuations that impact financial and regulatory reporting
- Conducts portfolio, repository and valuation analysis on an on-going basis and identifies risks and gaps to business partners within Treasury Operations and to our stakeholders
- Works closely with our Treasury Back Office Team executing on regulatory and audit deliverables
- Collaborates with Senior Partners helping with business continuity planning/testing, resiliency and RCSA analyses.
Qualifications
- A College or University degree and 3+ years relevant proven work experience
- Functional and industry knowledge is required specific to fixed income derivatives and securities
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
- Experience with business process and/or technology enhancement initiatives
- Strong Microsoft Excel / PowerBi skills
Salary Range
$85,330 - 145,130 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. TITLEDirector, Business Analysis
DUTIES- Lead business analysis activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop data-driven strategies and initiatives to improve business performance and drive growth.
- Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify insights and develop recommendations for business improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track business performance.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in business analysis.

REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, economics, statistics, or related field and six (6) years of experience as a Strategy Manager, Credit Strategy Analyst, Business Development Manager, Consultant, or related role where experience was gained. Also requires six (6) years of experience in the following:
- Leverage advanced analytics and risk management expertise to help provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions;
- Perform analytics on large data sets utilizing SQL, Python and SAS across internal data bases, external sources, and alternative data bases;
- Develop and execute experimental test designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods to identify business growth segments; and
- Manage monitoring for the test in order to inform future business decisions.

- Perform workflow analysis, develop workflow diagrams, and recommend process improvements by defining “current state” and “future state” systems.
- Oversee requirements elicitation, impact analysis, and documentation for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, UAT, Infrastructure) to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with established standards and practices to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Collaboration with Project Managers & Stakeholders
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and project managers to ensure alignment of project goals, priorities, and timelines.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and status meetings to capture and validate business needs.
- Support project managers in managing scope, identifying dependencies, and mitigating risks.
- Provide stakeholders with timely, accurate project status updates, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Coordinate resource planning with project managers to balance workload across initiatives.

- 15+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle, with a strong background in Business Analysis for IT-driven projects.
- 10+ years of BA experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain (preferred).
- Proven track record of effectively collaborating with project managers and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
