This position is responsible for business systems software, support, installation, and report development. It will provide support and training for end users at all levels of the organization.
Essential Functions:
Application Support
- Act as first line technical support for business applications.
- Focusing on Epicor; maintain, develop and supervise development of:
- Dashboards
- BAQs
- BPMs
- MES (Intermec Data Collection Devices)
- SSRS Reports
- Provide guidance and coordination to third party contractors/consultants engaged to support business systems.
- Support a third-party EDI system.
- Create and maintain in-house developed functionality extensions for Epicor using APIs and C# .NET
System Administrator
- Manage and implement business application security.
- Act as business applications first point of contact for corporate IT infrastructure team supporting troubleshooting and enhancement activities.
- Act as business applications first point of contact for cooperate audit functions.
- Conduct periodic disaster recovery tests.
Epicor Environment Support
- Ensure production environment is running, healthy and stable.
- Periodically refresh Test and Development environments.
Manage Projects / Upgrades
- Act as project manager for IT projects initiated by the business.
- Act as primary resource for applying, automating, and creating enhancements to business applications.
- Develop and maintain management reports based on business application data.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or qualified experience
Experience: 5 plus years of experience
Skills: Support barcoding and other specialized data collection equipment
C# .NET
Power BI report development
Effective communication skills
Conceptual ability
Functional knowledge in a wide range of general IT topics.

Job Description:
At Regions, the Business Systems Analyst conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analysis in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. This position may function as liaison between the line of business and the Information Technology (IT) department.
Primary Responsibilities

Formulates/defines specifications for operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from programs

Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and devises computer programs, systems, and related procedures to process data

Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution
-
Prepares program specifications and diagrams and develops coding logic flowcharts
-
Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs the operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations and user departments

Reviews progress and evaluates results

Reports inconsistencies to the attention of management and suggest problem resolutions and business process improvements

Certain business groups may require on call support rotation after hours and/or weekends
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Position Description
The position is responsible for supporting various departments by analyzing business needs, work flows, processes, and requests for service, and implementing and maintaining programs and interfaces to meet business requirements. This is accomplished by assessing user needs, researching methods, recommending technology solutions, analyzing costs, managing vendor resources, and recommending changes or enhancements to management. Other duties include providing user support and participating in meetings.
Typical Tasks
Determine business units' operational objectives by studying their functions, workflows and future plans; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
Manage multiple projects by designing and implementing solutions, establishing technology requirements, developing timelines and determine appropriate resources, and ensure all testing requirements are met.
Provide support for small and capital projects by engaging vendors to create, enhance and modify existing applications, upgrading applications, analyzing data and creating reports, training users, documenting instructions, coordinating activities with staff and departments, and researching new technologies.
Maintain application security and technology standards by ensuring security issues are addressed, reviewing federal and state guidelines, and ensuring compliance with the strategic plan.
Monitor project progress by tracking activity; analyzing and resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in information technology or business administration

Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field and three (3) years of experience in information technology or business administration

High School Diploma and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in information technology and business administration.
